eglaisi_91pathy
i was going on a gravel road to the gravel pit, the road is full of potholes. Thats fine, so I cross onto the paved road and go for about 3 blocks, i hear some 'nice' metal sreeching noises... "oh $&*@"... pull over and check damage. tailpipe is laying on the ground and has been dragging for who knows how long, it was still attached, barely. So i pull it off, put it in the back seat and keep going. To be optimistic... the new sound of the exhaust is really nice, but is it okay to run like this? its blowing onto the rear diff only, and even so there is a good 5-6 inches between the 2. QuismO
i'd be worried about carbon monoxide and other gases/fumes going into the cabin, especially when at a stop. the diff shouldn't be affected.
dagwoodzz
You can get new exhaust from the cat back about $170. I wouldn't go more than a couple paydays til I saved the money to fix.
