Long time lurker, minimal poster looking for part #27742-84G00! A little history, I decided to start a restoration on my 92 SE after it sat during covid and so far have: replaced the transmission, clutch and serviced the drive train. replaced the exhaust system from the block back. replaced the shocks, brakes and front ball joints (bushings and other parts on hold). replaced the timing belt, water pump, coolant sensor, cooling fan. replaced the starter and alternator. replaced the knock sensor, #1 cylinder injector, plug wires, and distributor. gutted the vehicle and deep cleaned the interior. I've been able to source many replacement parts from Ebay, Japan, and Portland, Oregon's Pick-n-pull yards (great source by the way), but this blend door actuator has been impossible to source. I want to get it to body and paint (it's got rust in all the "right" places for a WD 21) but the body, frame and interior are otherwise in good shape for 265,000+ miles. I bought this truck new in 1991 and it's become a family heirloom. My son wants it when I no longer can drive it (manual transmission). Does anyone out there have a source for this part? I hate that my resto hinges on what seems to be a relatively inexpensive, easy fix. All help is appreciated.
