  1. Idk if you guys get Kron4 news in your cities, but they were actually conducting an interview when she got home...Very powerful video. She was my ex gf and in the video is her whole family, my mom, neighbors...everyone we were/are close with...just horrible to see her that way and I was out following a lead. I wish I could have been there. She said they took her to richmond and that's pretty much all we've got so far. I have to keep a lot of details quiet so I can do my job and we can get these people but I'll keep you informed as much as possible. I cant thank you enough for your kind words. really, all of you, thank you so much. The odds of her making it home were so slim

  2. Update: All we have to go on is a car the police were going to fingerprint in redwood city. I'm not 100 percent positive if its the saturn or not. I'll keep you guys informed as much as possible. thanks for all your words of wisdom! i need to get word so i can upload the flier!!

  3. slick-it was the "monte carlo" on Castro street in downtown mountain view, ironically located quite near the police station

Pezzy- I'm actually trying to scan and upload the missing person flier so the numbers and what not can be seen

  4. Friday, Septmber 5th, Brittany Ann Brown went to a bar in downtown Mountain View, about a 5 minute walk from her house. She left around 1 am with a couple whom apparently were strangers to her. They were last seen leaving the bar in a white, mid-90's saturn coupe. Her family has not seen or heard from Brittany since. She is very close with her family and is always in touch. She is also only 18 years old. If you know anything or have seen or heard anything, please contact either myself at (408) 832-0750 or the Mountain View Police Dept. I know this is a long shot because most of you live out of my area, but word of mouth has been proven to be one of the strongest ways to get information out. I appreciate any and all help in this. We really want to get her home.

    Brittany's Description:

5' 7", Blonde Curly Hair, Approx. 150 lbs., Blue Eyes

    Description of the Couple:

Male: 6'3", shaved head, either hispanic or white, lip piercing, fresh tattoo of a skull on either elbow

Female: Approx. 5', Blonde Hair, 170 lbs.

This so far is all the information we have. We are working on a cell phone trace, but her cell phone is turned off.

  5. Welcome back, Ben! We thought about you often - sounds like all our wishes for a SAFE return have come true. We'd like to hear some of your stories when you get a chance.

Little Red is doing GREAT! She misses you, but I think she is pretty happy in her new home as well. Yes, I still have her and use her regularly. She's still ugly as ever (almost ALL of the clear coat is gone off the hood now), but the running gear is 100% like new now! Drives like a champ. Well, except for the A/C.... the compressor died a couple months ago. Got a new one, just need to get it installed and charged. Just a tough little truck with a lot of life left! 250K miles is just break in, I tell ya!

Wow 250k???? That's awesome to hear she's still around. I originally bought it from my high school auto shop in really bad shape...sagging rear end that leaned about an inch and a half lower on the drivers side, an exhaust leak like a metranome on steroids and tires that looked like they'd burst if you stared too long! But I knew shed be a great truck with a little tlc. I'm so happy she has a good home and still travels the open road. I had a ton of great times with it and I'm sure it'l do the same for you. Are you going to this thing in October slick mentioned above? I think it'd be neat to see it again!

  6. B, he's been mesmerized with too many shiny things (work), and has run off with the circus, if he's lucky (on vacation).

hahah mr. b, mr. b!! such a busy man! Well I would like to say that you all, as moderators, have done an excellent job updating the boards and making them better than the last time i was on here! You've all really kept things the way they should be and its very nice to come back to that :itsallgood:

  7. hey! haha funny thing, i actually got a pm from you when i signed on here for the first time in about 3 years! it was from july 10th, 2007. pretty crazy huh? I live in san jose now, right off highway 17S/880 North and 85. SC88pathy is a great guy! I had the opportunity of meeting him when I lived in sunnyvale. If i'm not mistaken, he purchased a bullbar from me. I also met slick that day too! she's a great gal too with her jd and country ahhaah. all good people. i havent met one person on here that isnt a pleasure to talk to and share stories with. As far as me shipping out, I ended up switching sides of the Coast Guard to the deployable operations group, or DOG or Specialized Forces (whichever you prefer), and am serving with a Port Security Unit in San Francisco. Mind you I am in the active reserves, however we drill quite frequently and are engaged in MOUT and some other very cool missions; very similar to the marine corps infantry regiments.

  8. Hello all! After a few years of toying with my VW's and dumping thousands of dollars into that scene, I'm coming back to my roots, sort of...In the next few weeks I'll be purchasing a 2002 Xterra 4x4 Supercharged. Now, I know this isn't a pathy and it's not my red wd21 that i cherished and had such a great time in, but it's a Nissan nonetheless! I hope Bernard and others are still around the boards! Looks like Mr. Jim has redone the boards and they look great! Hope you guys can welcome back an old friend to the community and help me with my future adventures and dilemmas in the wonderful world of Nissan!! :itsallgood:

  9. hey guys! haha ive missed everyone, and my pathy, of course. I'm pretty heavy into my coastal protection stuff now, but I bought a really fast jetta lol I know that sounds bad, but hey, this thing is QUICK>>>14 second 1/4 mile. Whats goin on with the pathy. something doesnt sound right, but with these things, chances are something isnt right...lemme know?? thanks man!

  10. no i think what stryker is asking is what would u do with the wires for the pl, pw, etc. when the doors are off, because "contrary to popular belief", his truck is equipped with such features. am i right max? and for that i'd just stuff them (plugs and all) as far into the holes as possible. i liked the half door idea too, tho! hmmm sounds like someone needs to go shopping at the jy!
