  1. Kiwi pete sent me most of what he has on pdf. If anyones interested, drop me an email I bought BOTH volumes of the FSM for my GQ from Pitstop books in AUS for only a wee bit more than that guys asking for one book. Argo
  2. The best place to install your guage is where it will read manifold vacume.[like biteme says] As vacume drops , fuel consumption increases. This makes the vacume guage THE most reliable means of reading your fuel consumption [in a carburated system. If you know how to intereperet them, Vacume guages can speak volumes
  3. I've already done a search here, and on google, with no sucess and reckon it would be good to have it posted here in case anyone else wants to make one I'm planning on making one for myself, so need to know.....Does anyone out there have a wheel bearing socket for a WD21 which they could measure and tell me depth of, and the length and center to center dimension of the pins? Cheers, Argo
  4. well Excuuuuse me Was given the impression not many other diesels out there .014" intake .014" exhaust... HOT also appears as though you might want to consider retorqueing maifolds at the same time? would post a link to the pdfs if I knew how to Not at all computer proficient, rather a simple analog minded diesel mechanic. Can do email and surf porn but thats about it anyone out there please feel free to PM me your email adress and I will fwd what I have. Then perhaps someone more computer literate than I, might make them available here
  5. I googled it as well . the only result I found was "from memory they are .014.........." It is quite likely correct, but I'm not at all keen on trying out something from someone's "memory" .Thanks all the same for the consideration. I am much more at ease with definite spec from genuine service literature. Hence my post inquiring here. If anyone happens to have a service manual for a Nissan TD27t, I would be delighted to hear from them. As for cracking pressure,I don't believe exceeding any factory spec comes without a cost. Especially with regards to altering injection timing and it's effects on volumetric efficiency. Nissan spends millions of dollars on R&D in order find the best comprimise between longevity and performance. Even with 18 years experience as a factory trained diesel mechanic, I'm not comfortable second guessing the engineers at Nissan and possibly shortening the service life of my machinery. cheers, Mike
  6. you have a service manual?? I'm trying to find the valve clearance spec for my 1991 TD27. please can you help me? I would not exceed the recommended cracking pressure out of consideration for the injector springs and possibly retarding the timing of commencment of injection. cheers, mike
  7. Anyone out there have tune up specs or any leads on service manuals in general for a 1991 TD27 turbo diesel ? Need to set my valves etc. Cheers
