Ok. Whats with the switch where i can choose between Off(Normal) and On(Diagnosis). Its curerntly set to Normal.

I found a box under the passenger seat and its got over thirty cables connected to it. When I opened it, my first thought was -What the..! It contained a electronics board, filled with components. Looks important.. Can anyone tell me what this box is?

Anyone who knows how much ground clearance i "loose" by installing sidesteps to my Pathfinder? I'm thinking of buying a pair, but not if it this means giving up a lot of ground clearance. Edit: Yes, its a -88 Pathfinder.
