  1. If I looked hard enough, I could come up with a pic of the dimensions (blueprint) of that front bumper. I have it somewhere on one of my hard drives.

If you could find them and pm me a link I would be eternally greatful!!!

  2. /\ Doesn't get channel 4 because she lives too far north

<Actually has a rediculously huge office for the job he has (with a window, real walls and a door!)

\/ Wishes (s)he could quit working at McDonald's and get a real job.

  3. Hey Landshark, I just moved to OKC from Santa Fe, TX just right around the corner from you! One of my best friends lives in Dickinson just behind the Pontiac Dealership off of 45! (I always thought it was funny there is a Pontiac dealership called "Gay Pontiac" and it happens to be in Dick-in-son, Texas!)

  4. /\ Is wrong about me being from a hole in the bottom of the sea

< Is going wheeling this weekend!!!! (Finally, it has been raining non-stop for a week...should have some great muddy pics on Monday!)

\/ Is Jealous that I am going wheeling this weekend ;)

  5. In the words of the great philosopher Homer Simpson, "If God didn't want us to eat animals, then why did he make them out of meat?"

  6. I would like to see a full prerunner style bumper (instead of the add on that AC sells). I know that it doesn't have all the practical aspects that arb style bumpers have, but I have always liked how they look as long as they don't come up rediculously to high in the front, like some custom jobs I have seen. I like the idea of having d-rings and integrated blinkers up front.

  7. I used to be BIG into rx-7's and knew Aaron (the guy who wrote the article) through the rx7club.com...he is a very smart man. He knows the Wankel rotary engine inside and out, but I disagreed with him on this. I had a turbo RX-7 in Houston that continually ran hotter than it should, I went back and forth trying to decide on what to do. Aaron (and others) said that I would be worse off going with an efan...to make a long story short, I was on a road trip and the fan clutch went out and I was in a bind, there were no 7's in the local junk yards where I was stranded so I went to Pep Boys and bought a Black Maxx efan and installed it to get me home. I never had another temp issue after that, so I left the efan on! It was a great fan, I got the big one (300cfm's I think).

Point being, I definitely gained better cooling by doing an efan.

  8. I had a few minutes this morning to mess with the adjustments on the t-bar, and that solved my uneven-ness. So now the front is definitly higher than the back so I ordered the 1.5" lift springs from AC to level it out. Then comes the wheels!

  9. So I got the rear bumper figured out. But I noticed that the drivers side rear is is sitting about an 1" lower than the passenger side. Could this be from adjusting the t-bar in the opposite corner too far? Or could I just need new rear shocks? I was planning on replacing them soon anyways so I might just do that and the see where it is at then.

  10. So the body lift is done!!! Here is a couple of pics:

I do have a couple of questions...what do I have to do to get the rear bumper up even with the body again? I adjusted the torsion bars for about a 1" lift (to clear the 33's I am getting). Will it settle in a bit and level out? The front looks a bit high to me.

I will be getting my wheels in the near future and will probably start another thread with those pics.

  11. I just ordered my 3"BL from AC thanks to my stimulus check. I am currently running 31" tires on it, is it possible to run 32's after the lift? I know that I would need the 3" SL as well to run 33's...so the question is will 32's be okay with a 3" body lift?
