Hey guys! I'm new around here, just bought a 1995 Pathy XE, I'm pretty sure it's a VG30E with an auto trans. The transmission was rebuilt 40k kilometers ago, fluid is pink and looks pretty clean. Prior to today, I only had 1 code - Code 32 which from what I've read relates to EGR function. Intermittent CEL until I give it some throttle and it clears before coming back again Today as I was backing out of my driveway in reverse, my vehicle stopped. Engine cut out, dash lights came on. Very strange. I started it up again no problem. Driving down my driveway, stalls again. Start it up again, get going. I drive about 12-15km on the highway and through town to work, and it does the same thing. I get to work, pull the codes - Code 32 - but now there's Code 14, which is related to VSS? Something to note is my speedo works on and off, usually can get it going by resetting the trip odometer. I have a spare gauge cluster and am just waiting to swap it in. I have no idea what the problem could be here, I've only owned the vehicle for about two weeks now. Initially I thought it was maybe fuel related but not super sure, potentially transmission? I took it out of OD just to see if maybe that was causing some weird issues and made it home just fine. Anyone with more experience willing to shed some light or share a thought about what the problem could be?
