Hello I don't know much about these Nissan engines and what are their common failure points the only engine I know very well is the Honda J series.
So I was at a red light and it instantly died I immediately assumed there was a fuel pump, so I check my fuse relay and even disassembled the cover under the seat to remove the hoses to see if I had fuel coming out and I did, so I ruled it out immediately.
I plugged the scan tool just to see what sort of code it would show this is not a fancy system of course, it keeps showing me cam sensor bank 1, problem there is no cam sensor by what I have looked at, there's a crank sensor if there is a cam sensor it would be built into the distributor? at this point should I replace the distributor?
At this time of writing there is no way for me to gain access to the vehicle I had to abandon it in a parking lot.
