  1. Perfect. Waiting on a open slot in my buddies shop(with lift) to replace the clutch and will definitely heed your advice. Thanks man
  2. Has anyone heard of a clutch failing once getting to temp and then sitting/cooling and works fine? My 95 slipped a little then just would drive. Went into all gears but no pull. Off the trailer today and it drove as it should with smooth shifts and we drove it 5 miles or so.
  3. Yeah. New clutch around 2023. Thanks
  4. Wire broken 2-3 feet from sensor. Thinking simply repairing the wire and heat shrinking should fix the problem unless I'm missing something. Thoughts? Next is the 4wd indicator wiring at the same place that is broken.
  5. Called a project. And yes they're driving me crazy

    1995 XE Stereo

Weird. Bought a 95 recently and decided to upgrade the stereo. Had a single din running just front speakers. Removed the unit and installed a Boss touchscreen with the harness from Crutchfield. No power to the "factory" plug now. Fuses look good. Grounds also seem good. Interface from Crutchfield never got power (no LEDs lit up). No issues removing (torque or pulling) the old unit. Switched out the power and ground that didn't match color wise with the removed harness. Any ideas?

  8. Thanks! Kinda what I was thinking. No doubt it's stout and all the seams/welds look good.
  9. Got a receiver hitch bumper with the 1995 I just got. It's off a 94. It has the factory brush guard. Is this a remove the bumper and attach? The 31.91 kB limit is wild on attachments
  10. Last question...normal splicing like I'm accustomed for marine applications work?
  11. New to me project 95 XE 4wd manual. Starter went out and while under noticed multiple wires and hoses cut or not attached. Not sure what has been bypassed etc. Been cleaning up after Helene and haven't had the opportunity to really research. Figured some folks on here may know. Thanks. PS - Had a heck of a time getting pictures resized from phone
