[Really low on power]

I noticed today when I was coasting down a 6% grade, the truck still slows down by itself. It seems like it just doesn't want to go above 45mph in top gear.

 

 

is it possable that you might have a brake sticking

[pathy not starting? Please help]

I have a 95 pathy stock. well my starters been going out for quit some time and well i went mudding in about 2 and half foot mud pit, drove around for about 2 hours after that. came home parked it and woke up the next day and it wont start. so i replaced the starter. still wont start. bought new battery still wont start. checked fuel pump .. well thats good. checked to see if i have spark, well i do. checked spark plugs, and those are good. now when im trying to start it it clicks real fast and it will some times miss fire. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong? Please give me some ideas...thanks

clicking real fast to me sounds like a dead/low battery try a boost

you will have to pull the carpet back but ya there is an access panel

[towing advice]

i drive for CAA/AAA and were told to cross the chains for the control if a car jumps ship also dont let the chains drag when truck-trailer are straght chains should be half an inch off the ground when turning sharp it will touch

 

when towing pick up the drive wheels iirc the pissot is front wheel drive so pick the front up

 

when backing up put your hand on the bottom of the wheel and turn it the way you what the trailer to go

go to your local scrap yard and get switch (2-3 buck) if it works that was the prob if not you wasted 1 hour(there back and install) and 3 bucks

[Low Gear Pathy]

even thu the t-case is in 2HI you might have to reverse say about 6 feet to unlook the hubs so thet the 4 wheel disengages

[Towing]

i was driving a wrecker at the time i bought me 2nd PF i picked up the front put the t-case in N and the trny in N (stick shift) but it didnt wont to roll so i started it put the t-case in 2HI and rolled on no ill affecks

a coulpe years ago i went on trip got crap for milage like 400 klm per tank onthe way there, on the way back had more weight but i did have a canoe(20ft) on the roof got 800-900klm per tank it also gave me better get and go
