  1. Im trying to figure out what caused this. My pathfinder has been sitting because I need to do the timing belt. I drove it to the store the other day and the ABS and brake light was on. I took off the cap and checked the brake fluid. It was low, but there was still some in there. I needed to move it the other day, so I went to back it out of the spot, and I had almost no brakes at all. In the spot where it was parked, is a huge puddle of brake fluid. I didnt notice it leaking at all before, ( i have had it for 2 months) what would make it all leak out in a day?

  2. My pathfinder has been sitting for a little while since I am saving up to get the timing belt

replaced. I drove it to the store yesterday and it was making a metal clanging noise that

sounded like it was coming from the front right wheel. It got faster when the car when faster

and stopped completely when the car wasnt moving. Any idea at all when this could be?

    Thanks.

  3. I have a 93 SE with 165K on it that I just bought.

I found a guy to do my timing belt and water pump this weekend, he is only charging 3 hours at 50 an hour.

Ive been looking online at autozone, napa, etc. just to price out the parts. Some list just the timing belt, some list

it with a tensioner. WHich one do I need on this page? http://www.napaautoparts.com/masterpages/N...&SubCatId=1

Also which water pump do I need off this page? http://www.napaautoparts.com/MasterPages/N...&SubCatId=4

    Do I need anything else

besides coolant? Thanks for your help in advance.

  4. Nope that's normal. Your oil light ought to have illuminated for a couple of seconds until the oil pressure switch is made as well. Check for leaks and proper fill level and you should be golden.

I had some oil under it, but it dirty oil from when I removed the oil filter and it got everywhere.

  5. Planning on changing the oil on my 93 this weekend. Do I need a new crush washer, or can I just use the same one. The reason Im asking is because on my Civic Si, it costed like 30 cents. I was on autozone's website, and they had it listed for like 10 bucks. I know its a dumb question but can somebody help?
