  1. After taking my 95 out a couple weeks ago it has developed a strange clunking sound as I brake and come to a stop. It keeps clunking once stopped, but chills out when I put it in Neutral (auto), and then picks back up when I shift back to Drive to get going again. It doesn't seem to be a problem once I accelerate. Every time I've put it into park to check under the hood it stops too. Is my transmission shot? I'm terrified this might be the death of the old girl! Thanks in advance ??
  2. Hey all, Got some fan/belt whining after driving through a couple deep puddles 2 weeks ago - since then the compressor belt blew out completely and I'm working on figuring out how to replace all the belts since they are all pretty worn. Idler pulley bearings are shot so that's gonna get replaced. More troubling is the strange clunking I'm getting now when I slow down to a stop; it feels like gears slipping, and stops when I put it into Neutral (Automatic). Doesn't seem to matter whether or not its in 4x4. Worried it's going to hit the dirt any minute now!
