  1. for 1999 try,

turn your ignition to the on position (not start) within ten seconds of doing that press the Driver Side Door Switch 10 times and it should turn off/ reset

Here's the process to reset the air bag light (copied from somewhere else)

If you have the airbag light, it will show steady for a few seconds (the manual says 7 secs) after you turn the key from off to on (but not start) and then start to flash. Here is how to reset it:

Next time try this. it works for 2005 nissan fronteers

I also read someplace that you will get airbag flashing at 100,000 miles because nissan wants them in for a systems check.

    1. Turn the key from off to on.

    2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.

    3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)

    4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.

    5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.

    6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing.

If it does not work the first time, just repeat the steps again.

I found this stuff from google search.

  2. Thank you all for your replies. Last night I checked the radiator reservoir container and it was empty (engine was cool), not to mention that the radiator was in need of antifreeze fluid. I topped the radiator with antifreeze liquid and filled the reservoir container to adequate level. This morning I had perfect heating in the cabin. It seems that folks at Nissan are not checking the fluids level when I take my Pathy for service. I guess I will have to be more careful with those people. Peace! :lmao:

  3. Help please! Pathfinder 2008 4WD SE. I'm having problems with the heating in my car. Every time I put the heat on it just blows cold air either on AC or not. Sometimes it blows warm air when in low, but when I crank it all the way just clod air comes out. Thanx.

  4. Hey I would recomend you to install clear bra on the hood rather than the bug protector. I don't know but the bug protector looks ugly, with the clear bra you just wash the bugs off the bra and that's it. I have installed clear bra on the hood, fenders, front bumper and mirrors and its invisible. Post some pics when you decide doing it.

  5. Thank you guys. I think I'm going to get rid of the stock stereo and go for the Alpine Navigation System with the aux connection,it is real cool it has bloothooth and all that stuff. I'm also installing a dvd player so my daughter can stop messing around in the car also new speakers since my Pathy did'n come with the Bose system. I don't want to screw anything in it so I'll let a professional handle it. I'll send you pics from the before and after. I think that will do the job. There are 2 very important things I should have gotten at the begining with the car:

    1.Leather seats

    2.Bose 6 CD system

So anybody buying a new Pathy think about those 2 "things" before making a decision.

I know once you get something no matter what it is after a while you want something better. It's ok next year if I can I'll get one with all the extras.

    See ya.

  6. Can anybody help me with this? I'm trying to connect my iPod directly to the stereo of my '07 Pathfinder. I would like to make an internal connection and run a wire to the glove compartment so I can hide the iPod in there. I went to best buy but they told me that they don't make the kit for this specific model and year. They wanted me to buy a bunch of s..t like a new stereo and a connector kit that is gonna cost me like around 1,500 bucks. Any ideas please?

  7. Sorry to hear that! Mine I got it a month ago and I haven't gotten any problems at all. It has rained very hard for a couple of weeks and I don't have any problems with water. Well if it's the seal around the door offcourse you gonna get water inside.Too bad that is happening to you.

  8. Try Automotive Accessories at www.autoaccessconnect.com they have goood prices and they don't charge for shipping. An you also can try to contact the manufacturers straight. Some of them don't sell direct to you but you can compare their prices with the dealers prices. Try www.westinautomotive.com they have nice things for the front bumper. Once you log in to this website they give you a list of dealers that they work with so I'll shop around first and if you find something that is easy to install you can save some money on the installation. Also try www.go-rhino.com.

  9. Hello everybody. I finaly install the Westin Bull Bar on my new baby. But the way thank you for your reply. It is so easy and it looks so f....ing nice. Check the pics, you guys let me know.Well I started with removing the front flap that is located under the front bumper there are 6 screws that with a 10mm socket and a ratched can be removed. After that remove the tow hook that is attached to the frame under the passenger side with 19mm socket and if you find an air pressure gun it will be so easy to handle it. That is where the mounting plate will go. Make sure you locate the other 2 holes that are located on the left side of the frame you won't miss it. Apply some W40 lubricant to the 4 holes before intalling the mounting plates. Make sure the open side of the plate (wich is like a L shape ) faces the inside of the car and the other side faces the tire obiously. Tighten the bolts with a 17mm socket with the air gun, make sure they are very tight you don't want the bar to fall off while driving. The next step is to attach the bar itself to the mounting plates. Help yourself with a jack don't forget to place a pillow or cushion on top of the jack's platform. Allign the holes of the bar with the ones on the mounting plates (if you can cover the front bumber with a towel to prevent scratches) make sure to place the bar lip on top of the mounting plate samething with the other side. Once they are on place first install the back bolts so you can adjust the bar the way you want it hand tight them only for now.Once you have the bar leveled,(I would recomend to place the bar 2" away from the front bumper) install the front bolts underneath with their respective washers and proceed to tighten the bolts holding the long side of the bolt with a 17mm wrench tool and the oher side with a 17mm socket with the air gun, make sure you tight them very well. Look for the bar to be straight. I have pictures of how I installed it but I don't know how to download them. Need help. If any body in Jersey needs help let me know I think it looks awesome on the pathfinders 2005+

I don't like the way the brush and push bars look on them. I'm also installing the hicht step from go-rhino. I'll get it next week.
