  1. This is about what she looks like now, except the front bumper is removed so I can fab up a winch bumper.

I know most people stay with little offset and 33" or smaller tires, but I couldn't help myself...

This shows how much the fenders were trimmed. The tires are 32x11.5 BFG KM1. You can also see the gap from the body lift...

  2. Hey Y'all,

So I picked up my first Pathy in April with the intent to build a serious snow machine. I've done a lot of work to it in that time and am rounding third on my build. A good friend of mine told me I should become an NPORA member so... here I am. 😃

I started with a $250 non running manual 1991 pathfinder. It wasn't running because the PO used it for parts, such as the fuel pump and rear control arms. I quickly replaced those then started the build.

So far I have a 3" Body Lift from AC, ridiculously trimmed fenders to fit my brand new 36" Irocks on H1 double beadlocks. Nitro 5.13:1 gears, Front ARB and a super packed rear LSD.

About a month ago she started smoking terribly and so with the unusually warm weather in the PNW I decided to do a complete gasket rebuild of the engine, including timing belt, water pump, head gaskets, cam seals, valve seals, heck the whole 9 yards. The cylinders are in great condition so I opted out of getting down the block to have it machined.

The plan is to finish up the reassembly of the engine this weekend, and start the winch bumper to mount my recently acquired m8274.

I go Snow wheeling with Carl Jantz owner of Super Jeep so this thing is gonna see some serious pow this winter, assuming mother nature does her part.

And no, I won't SAS it. This rig is for snow, I have a Solid Axle on my Cherokee for Summer fun.
