I went to 2 of my local "Pick N Pull's" yesterday and only found tire carriers for a '93 pathfinder. I will keep the search going. I also looked on the NPORA FB page and didn't find anyone selling one.

Great pictures as always. I love the long exposure night ones.

Cool, glad it's helpful. No worries on the pics, I still have all of them and would re-post them if my host does something stupid. If you have any ties to Santa Barbara, though, there's a guy on the FB NPORA page selling the later style (01-04). I would've liked to get that one, but the older one does just fine. Mounting should be all the same.
Though, because you have a QX4, do you have the reverse lights on the rear gate next the license plate, or in the tail lights? The tire would block them if on the gate. Probably not the end of the world, but might require some research to see if you can bring over R50 tail lights and wiring harnesses to relocate the reverse lights, or look into adding reverse lights to the bumper or roof (would likely be easier).
Thanks! Yeah my sister lives in the Huntington Beach, that might be a bit to far for her. I'll find one here sooner or later.
My reverse lights are on the gate, but I don't see that being a big issue, I can always find a Pathfinder set and call it good. I am already starting on putting those "pod" LED's into the bumper so if I can't find Pathfinder lights (or for some reason they won't work) it should work just fine.
I just ordered the 2" coil spacers from SFCreations, it should be here on Monday. Pretty happy with how it is turning out so far.

This thread is awesome. I am going to have to save it all so I can keep the pictures (just incase another hosting site pulls a photobucket). Thanks for all the hard work and R&D. I hope to find one soon here in UT and do this to my Q.

Looks good man! I have an 01 QX4 and always run my fogs with my headlights. I was just down in Moab a couple of weekends ago, but I need to get to the mountains.

I fit 265/70/r17 on my stock 2001 QX4. Only rubbing happens in reverse while turning. And it is only slight rubbing, I know I could heat up the fender lining and fix the issue. I removed my running boards before I put the tires on, mostly because I like the look, and secondly they kept rubbing the back of my leg getting out.

I used Hercoo white L.E.D T5 10 pack includes twist in bases
Ordered off Amazon 12$ Great deal and very bright. The bulb that's inside your security indicator is a red L.E.D I got some used security tabs at a junkyard they work really well. Of course you have to take them apart to get the red ones, but it's worth it. My cruise control switch I'm using one in it. Using one of the white Hercoo L.E.D bulbs in my rear wiper switch as well. You'll have to manipulate the bulbs to get them to fit in the switches.

What bulbs did you use? A lot of mine are burnt out. I know they are tiny and twist in, but I don't know what they are called or where to find them. I could do some research, but I'm lazy. haha

I spy a rifle. Looks like fun.
I was about to say the same thing. hahaha

Taken today and yesterday.
Fit some 265/70/r17's on stock suspension. I did add back in the fender lining and it only rubs in reverse.

R50 Tire Carrier Mod: Let's settle this!

I've got a couple of other projects/issues that need to be addressed before I could justify that. The autocross toy (03 S2000) needs some body work after going through a fence at an event.... stupid snap oversteer! The tire carrier isn't really a priority, if there was one locally I would grab it, but it wouldn't be worth the trip for me right now. Thanks for the heads up though.
