Thank you for the input guys. I really like my pathfinder. Frame and body are straight no damage, the interior looks good no rips in the seats. I really don't want to buy another used Pathfinder only to end up dealing with potential problems that would come up as miles moves on. At least with the rebuild I would know what would be coming. I can't afford another car payment plus upped insurance for a new truck. That is why I wanted to go the way of a rebuild. Less on insurance, and I figured I can better handle a 5K repayment then a 20K. With that said any ideas on where to get a rebuild done?

Hello all, My question is for anyone out there that has worked on or had someone work on your Pathfinder. My '95 Pathfinder is reaching it's 300,000 mark, and yes it's getting tired. I'm wanting to either rebuild or by new, your info would be most helpful here, the engine and transmission. Get some work done to the front ball joints. Basically give my Pathfinder some TLC. I just don't know anyone here in Tacoma WA that I can trust to give me a fair shake. So I am hoping that you all maybe can point me in the right direction. If you have had this kind of work done, tell me what I am looking at price wise. Thank you for your help.
