I am looking for a cup holder insert to make the large cup holder a regular one. I have searched and can not find one, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The valve is located on the passanger side of the engine and is located right on top of the valve cover, it's very difficult to see as its right near the fire wall and you most likely have to remove the upper and lower intake manifold collector.
Thanks for the info.

Just thought i would chime in and say that i didn't have any silicone spray either, but i did have formula 303 and it has worked so far, about two weeks. The windows roll up much faster now.

One thing i have learned from doing tint myself, is its worth the money to pay to have it done. Just had my wife's 01 done the back is already done, got the two front windows done at 15% and it matched the rest of the vehicle., i think it was 85 dollars the did it in about thirty mins.

Just thought i would let everyone know, it is the gray one, there are four red, blue, white, and gray. its hard to determine when you call nissan because the service manual has the colors as or/ and or/l for that code.

Is the engine idling up to around 2000rpm when you're out of gear? I cleared the code on mine and the error hasn't come back once.
Not that i have noticed, but i will look at that today. i reset when the other one went bad about a year ago and it came back. I'll take the battery off and check, to see if it comes back

There is some cutting of wires, but there is a wiring kit, i think the one that they sell there is no cutting or splicing... this website has what you need.

I have had one installed on my 01 subaru legacy, (Cobb Tuning), and also on my 06 Tacoma, (xdi intake true flow). I am just going to say that they look nice, but no real noticable improvement with either.. the one for the tacoma i have returned, it was on the truck a total of 1 day.. no longer have the suby traded in for the truck.

I HAVE FOUND ONE WEBSITE THAT SEEMS PRETTY GOOD. YOU CAN GET TEN OIL FILTERS FOR 50 BUCKS.. JUST CURIOUS IF ANYONE HAS FOUND SOME OTHER DEALERS THAT DO THE SAME AS WELL. ANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOMED.

I'M WITH "projekz" My dad has a 98 with the vg, and my wife has a 01 with the vq 3.5 and for about the same mileage you get a lot more horses.

Thats why i used the ten quarts, just to run a little extra thru to try and get all the old out

In the service manual, it states to disconnect the abs actuator , and electric unit connections, or disconnect the negative battery cable..
and then
1. the LSV valve (4wd only) its on top of the axle
2.left rear wheel
3.right rear
4.left front
5.right front

Just thought i would drop a line on my experiences with synthetic trans fluid. About 3 months a go i switched to Royal Purple in the in the tranny, me and a friend of mine did a flush, waht we did was take off the line going in to the cooler, and attached more hose, we had a five gallon bucket which we had previously filled up 10qts of water to mark a line. we ran the car while dumping the new fluid in through the dip stick, which worked pretty well, when you get to the 10 qt line u quit, you can actually see the fluid changing color coming out of the hose.. But any way the new fluid made a huge difference in shifting smoothness, it ran like a new vehicle, the wife was very pleased with the outcome. Anyone have any similar experiences with synthetic??

kit for the steering wheel controls? where did you get that? Got a brand name/ model? I have been wanting to switch my 6 cd changer for a dvd mp3 player but loosing the steering wheel controls is what got me not to do it.
got the kit at crutchfield.com i think it only works with pioneer and sony head units, the may have others for different radios. i don't think it had a brand name they just reffered to it as a PAC, and thats pretty much all the box had on it..

I put my XM tuner inside the dash behind the radio/CD player unit, just kinda stuffed it back there. And the antenna is on the roof directly behind the drivers side A-pillar. It's worked great for years.
Thanks for all your help everyone. i ended up putting the tuner under the radio, plenty of room under there, as for the antenna, i put it on the driver side rear of the vehicle on the roof, near the left rail. will post pics tomorrow.

Try removing the glove box and the glove box surround. There may be enough space behind the dash to the right of the blower motor, against the body. I installed an iPod adapter unit in that area using double-sided tape, but it's a bit smaller than 5"x5".
I'll check that out when i have it all apart, appreciate the help..

How big is the tuner? You might be able to place it behind the glovebox or under a front seat.
The size is 5 wide 5 3/16 high and about 1 1/2 thick, looked under seat would be a little tight

Wife's 6 disc changer just bit the dust, so i ordered a pioneer head unit, sirius tuner, and kit for the steering wheel controls. Any way my question is has anyone installed the tuner, found a good good place to put the tuner.. all info appreciated
