1992, but new to me! Most recently owned by my mother, who only had it because her father passed it on when he also passed on. Engine is good, transmission leaks a little, and as far as I know the 4wd is in working condition although I haven't had a chance to give it a shot! It currently smells like a pair of old cleats and my primary goal right now is just to make it driveable! I found this forum on a google search, and it seems like a great place to start! It's got lots of cool features. Some of them even work! Power windows! Unuseable power locks! A sun roof! Unuseable heated seats! Unuseable rear speaker amp! Unuseable sport suspension switch! Leather seats! Unuseable rear windshield wiper! Unuseable right headlight! Unuseable interior lights! No-longer power antenna! The smell of old man feet and bearing grease! The list goes on...!

  1. The plastic grates are pretty broken. I snaked the hand vac hose down there best I could. It's going to the carwash for a big vac tonight. I'll probably just snap off what little plastic remains and get some new ones soon. Or fabricate one. I'm not very pleased with those plastic bits. I don't park under trees, so I should be good for a few days without one.
  2. My turn! So I pulled my glovebox, and was presented with the black barrier thing. I was supprised to see that the screwheads were a little stripped, because my luck usually goes that no one improves anything before I own it. Then I unscrewed the resistor box. It says "Up" on the top, in case you're an idiot! When I removed the box... WHOLLY CRAP! So I started scooping. And scooping. And digging. And sucking. Good thing for my tiny girl hands! Afterward, I was left with a sparkly clean blower box, resistor cage, and a mountain of leaves, pine needles, and mats of some sort of gray fiber. I didn't find any poops, so I don't think the weird fiber is a nest... but who knows! And as for the mysterious white powder on the floor, I assure you that I'm not trafficking contraband. It's baking soda, to improve the smell of my filthy truck.
