  1. The thing i understood was the axle shafts arent strong enough to turn much more than 33's and cause a lot of stress and tend to snap. Unless you build it up but only then its strong as a stock d44 but a lot more money. So in theory its better to start with the d44, its strong enough and if you ever do need to replace shafts ive heard its cheaper also. Again this is just things ive heard. But running the d44 seems to be what most guys here run anyways with sas rigs. Ive looked into jeep d44's just slightly but they are 4x the price as the waggy, from prices ive found anyways

  2. SAS is the way to go. Gathering parts for my 94 now, if you wanna do some pretty aggressive offroading anywyas. Mine will be a trail rig but work truck also. If just light offroading i say go for either a spacer for the rear or cherokee springs, uca's and a body lift. Or just get a calmini suspension kit, a little pricey but have heard decent reviews

  3. Hey everyone glad i found this forum. Guess ill start my saying my name is Larry and i just got my first Nissan. Its a 94 Pathfinder SE 4x4. Its bone stock right now but the motor and trans are shot. Swapping in a VG33E and trans here soon an also collecting parts for a SAS. Hoping to learn from everyone, im use to dodges and fords so this is all new to me. Gotta start going through threads and learn a thing or two about my new rig, hope everyone has a good night!
