  1. Hey guys I'm having a problem with my alternators going out after muddin. I have a lifetime warranty on the part but it's a pain in the ass to keep changing it. Does anyone know if they sale a bracket to relocate the alternator to top of engine? Or some how water proof the alternator

  2. Hey guys I so I have a 1990 pathfinder and when I turn on headlights they come on fine, how ever if my dash lights don't come on with head lights my tail lights don't come on. So I have to click on and off the head lights until I have dash lights witch = I have tail lights. Just wondering if you of you guys had same problem and what's the fix. I would assume the head light switch. But don't wanna assume.

  3. Man thank you so much went and put new motor mount and new "air boot" and ya she's running like a top... I can even do a brake stand on 31" tires. 😜😝😊

  4. I noticed the motor mount on drivers side is broken. When attempted a brake stand with the hood open I could see the motor lift atleast 6" so I've gotta replace that.

  5. Ok guys I have a 1990 pathfinder and the other day I took my boat out and coming up the boat ramp that fskcer kicked jumped and spit... Cut out at 2k Rpms. Also when I'm 4 wheeling the engine doesn't wanna go over 2k it starts cutting out. And last but not least if I try a brake stand it cuts out at 2k. Under normal driving conditions it runs like a top. And advice would be great... Replaced (fuel filter, air filter, MAF sensor, cap, rotor, plugs and wires. I'm kinda lost at what else it could be.

  6. I have a similar problem. If I do a "brake stand" or try to pull up a boat ramp that fskcer bucks and kicks and cuts out at 2k. It always makes it up but damn. Also if I'm 4wheelin it cuts out and bucks at 2k. (Automatic transmission)

  7. Hey guys I have a 1990 pathfinder 160k running 31 10.50 super under powered. trying to increase the power but staying CA legal any links or suggestion on where to start would be great. Keep in mind I'm on a working mans budget. Lol

  8. So tore into it and found the neutral safety switch to busted replaced that from the wrecking yard for 10 bucks. However didn't fix the problem. Dropped the trans pan everything looked cherry. Drained the transfer case and found burnt oil and huge metal shavings. :/ whelp that's where the problem is. :/

  9. Ok guys and gals I have a 1990 pathfinder I was out wheeling the other day and got stuck in the sand put the truck in park but the display on dash still reads in 1st gear. Turn off truck then it wouldn't start had to jump over the starter but still says it's in 1st gear. Move the gear selector to D and has no power to any of the wheels. :( just had trans rebuilt less then 10,000 miles ago. It's an automatic any advice or similar problems would be great! Thanks

  10. Ok guys tomorrow is smog day number two... List of new parts follows: cat,o2 sensor, cap, rotor, oil&filter, air filter, wires, fuel filter, cleaned MAF SENSOR.(although it wasn't dirty) cleaned egr (although it wasn't dirty) should pass right? Lol

  11. Haven't looked at the plugs yet :/ but I put it in a vise and used a digital multimeter and a propane torch. Should read close to 1 volt but got no where near 1volt so it's getting replaced. :) and I'm at the muffler shop getting flanges welded on the new cat. I'm replacing it after all atleast that will take it out if the question. And new plugs and wires are going on today. I also used some seafoam @!*% to break up the carbon in the engine yesterday. I honestly think it was my o2 sensor and fuel filter. Either way imma have a new truck once all said and done :) hope just hope I can out 4 wheel my buddies jeep.

  12. Well the old cat looks new I can't see any defects with the "HONEY COMB" so I'm considering putting the old cat back. And yes the oil was old and changed that. Also the fuel filter was super hard to blow throw so I replaced that.
