So do I replace the tow hooks all together or bolt on the grill guard over it? Thanks again

Hi, I just picked up a used 2003 pathfinder and I absolutly love it. Well I bought a grill guard and I'm trying to install it myself. Does anyone know which hole I bolt on the two middle parts underneth the truck? Do I use the tow hooks or the holes next to it? Also, is the grill guard held together only by those bolts underneth??? Thanks so much for the help.
