Thoughts? I replaced it of course, so I re thought it, right before I did the valve cover gasket I had just filled my tank from just a hair above E, my fault. I also am remembering a slight hesitants getting on the freeway minutes later from filling tank.

  2. Alright so todays chore list was, plugs wires filter, added a thing of Lucas injector cleaner, going to still be doing cap rotor when it arrives, but the one I have looks great, cleaned throttle body and all connections, had to have it towed this am because it just lugged so bad, mechanic read the same two code P0325 (knock) and P0300 random multiple cylinder missfire. Still acting the same even after it's first tune up. Mech said everything is oem at 246 =-O. Any guidence appreciated.

  3. So today I went ahead and replaced the valve cover gasket passenger side only at this time, went smooth no hiccups until driving to work I lost some power and it started miss firing, and the power seems to come in waves one second it's struggling the next it's fine, so I took it to the zone and the only code present was the PO325 code for knock sensor, any one have experience with this code? I already ordered parts to do the job, any inputs would be awesome, already checked connections. :-)

  5. So we are having to do the rear main seal in my little brothers 89, we got the tranny out...... Took along time, biggest pain in the butt.... Got the clutch flywheel off, and now what? I've read we need to drop the oil pan as well? I'm just in need of direction lol, thanks in advance.

  6. So I added a very vague description last time I posted, so update since I've traded my 86 4runner for my 97 pathfinder. A bit about the 4runner, terrible, Nuff said lol, pathfinder 245k today, wasn't thrilled at first won't lie. But that was due to the fact it had the death wobble front and rear=-O really sucked to drive.... Since I've gotten it fixed with a set of new cooper discover AT3, it is fantastic to drive, plenty of power vs the 22re, that's a given, better gas mileage, and number one in my book is it's limited slip dif, never owned a vehicle with it, won't go back to open, even with high miles and lack of routine maintenance by last owner which is all up to date now. they did a great job with these trucks, original tranny and motor both strong as hell, that damn 4runner blew 4 motors in 4 years.... Motor Works In Spokane Washington is a big no no, just a heads up. Plus my younger brother has an 89 and same color, now a Nissan family. Plus Nissan people are much nicer than some Toyota people. I attached a picture of my old 4runner taken today... It's a DD still and on a flat bed... AgainPosted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

  7. Got that picture up lol, main reason why I did the switch, I didn't want the 4runner when I first bought it, (no R50 for sale at the time) but long story short was a 86 runner 22re, great truck, minus having to literally replace the motor 4x in 4yrs, had it "built" at motor works in Spokane Washington, NEVER GO THERE, also the Nissan is a much better family wheeler/daily,

  8. I just had all this fixed at perfection tire, upper lower control arms and the other bushing that is random and don't remember. Ran me about 550 with new arms instead of doing just bushings. Also did front sway bar bushings. No more wobble. Mine was bad though, no bushing left in the passenger side, wobbled at all speeds.
