  1. So after a little more then a year I have decided to bite the bullet and do the engine swap. I have an 88, 5 speed. 3.0. I can't find the write on up on the engine swap for my truck. I thought I remembered reading that I could do a 90-95 3.3 swap fairly easy? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I found jdm 3.3 for 700 bucks. Will I need the ecu? I really wanted to do the diesel swap but I'm afraid it will end up being a long pain in the ass project.

  2. So I put a new cv axle in my 88 pathfinder today. I noticed the shocks and ball joints are over due. I know this truck has some type of adjustable suspension. Where would I buy comparable shocks? I checked online and the parts store but they just sell gas shocks. Is it possible to keep this system? I usually wouldn't care but I know when i'm in soft sand if I flip the switch to sports, it really helps with wheel hop. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

  3. Yea a long time ago when 16 inch low profile tires were cool I used to buy yokohamas. They were cheaper and i got almost the same mileage as a name brand. Hardbody did you check the pic i posted of the ac line?

  4. Well I'm horrible at this game then cause you sent a picture of your old hard body with the side view of the tire, ( number 4) lol. No worries on taking over the thread, I was hoping it would be fun for everyone.

  5.

    I love mine!

Silverton I would love these on my pathfinder. His truck weighs over 6000 pounds and these things carry that weight on 18 pounds. I always joke about his truck is going forward or down, either way those tires are digging.

  6. Well some of these are vague guesses but the first one is a dunlop something. 2. bf goodrich all terrain TA. 3. Dick Cepek Mud Countries. 4. Bf goodrich mud terrain TA. 5. Good year all terrain 1971? lol

  7. yes I posted the answer to 4 of the treads. The fifth one I don't know. I thought it would be easy since the tread was obviously unique, but after researching I can't say for sure. Thanks for asking.
