[What is the normal water-temperature range for our trucks?]

If the system cools well enough though the heater core, you looking at thermostat or crazy clogged up radiator as my best guess.

 

Provided the coolant is not leaking out somewhere.

Thanks, I loosened all 4, but left the front bottom one on and "rotated" the compressor forward enough to clear it...

I ran into a issue trying to pull off my top timing cover..

 

The A/C line crosses low enough and close enough that I just cant seem to pull the cover off.

 

Any helpful hints?

Updated..

 

"Empty" canister did not allow the system to work correctly.

 

Replaced the canister last week and my daughter told me the check engine light did not come on today.. WIN!!

So my Pathfinder check engine light came on today when my daughter was driving it to school (2miles).

 

I picked it up and drove it to parts store and they told me it was code P1447 -EVAP system.

 

I remember reading about how to do this repair yourself just last night...

Yea I Jinx myself all the time so I checked the valve and it was full of carbon.

 

So long story short I managed to clear the lines and clean out everything I could. But instead of buying replacement parts.....

 

I totally shook all of the remaining carbon out of the canister...

 

Instead of resetting the ECU. I was thinking of just leaving it alone and seeing if it clears itself..

 

What do you think the odds are that will work?

 

Low budget part.. I used about 1/8 roll of paper towels and 1/2 can of WD-40.

[What did you do to your Pathfinder today?]

I installed a new corner marker and used fog light in my newly aquired 1997 Pathfinder.

 

Ended up having to take the light out of the frame to be able to install the frame first and then squeeze my fat fingers into the little spacing on the side to screw the light back in.
