  1. summit racing is a good place...not to expensive and you can even use a nissan oil filter with it...now finding a spot is more of a tuffy... ---- i tried to post a pic but i couldnt figure it out...i basically put my filter relocater in the right wheel well, but i made a bracket for it so it acctually sits inside the engine compartment close to the power steering pump...so it clears the wheel and the pump and i can still put the rubber cover back on and its all nicely tucked away...
  2. just put my adapter today...going to test it out make sure the spot is ok before i hook it all up...ill post pics soon after...
  3. this is all good info guys...thanks...
  4. that looks reasonable...and self explanatory...thanks for the info...this will be my next purchase...plus my oil change...then my headers...
  5. hello all...well i had a question about my roof rack...one rail was broken and i found a rail at the junk yard...but after i installed it i took a closer look and felt it was too flimsy...i want to put a basket on the roof and wasn't sure if it would do the job...are the stock rails for a 93 ok to keep for the basket with stuff in it or should i find solid rails? and which rails should i look for? thanks for the help....
  6. i can't remember if i asked this question or not, but is it better to but a relocation kit or make my own...and where should i get the kit, i looked on ebay but what comes up doesn't look right...where should i get it? or if i piece it together where should i get the parts from?
  7. so do i have to get everything custom or can i find a kit ready to go?
  8. this is all great info. i am going to consider all these options. thanks guys....
  9. Ha Ha...I got confused and put it in the wrong place...but I am new to site and to 4bying....now as far as what I want thats part of my question...im not really out in the boonies a lot but if i invest in a CB I want it to work when I need it...I had found one at the swap meet for 10 bucks but I didn't want to get it because I didn't know what I would need...I didn't want to make holes in the roof so I think I like the bumper install of the antenna and it makes sense that if I have a crappy antenna the system would be crap as well.
  10. Im thinking of installing a CB radio but have no clue on what brand, where would be the best place to install and where do i put the antenna? Can someone give me some pointers please.
  11. what about a oil relocation kit?
