  1. Pezzy was actually referring to Automotive Customers (around here we refer to them as AC or 4x4parts) http://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/ They specialize in Nissan trucks/SUV's

Four Wheel Parts (http://www.4wheelparts.com/ ) is generally a terrible store and I'd only go to them for non specific type parts (tow straps, lights, tires, etc)

Welcome to the forums! I haven't had the chance to go down to Mexico yet, and now that you need a passport... well lets just say I probably won't have the finances to make that trip for a while

Ok, thaks for the link, I hope to get some answers there... You should make the effort to visit Mexico, there´s a lot a great places to visit, only on Baja California we have wine routes, off roadin´ on the desert, sand dunes, sea and a lot of intresting things to do, if you go further south, you should encounter rain forests, mountains (beautifull), little towns for just relaxing, don´t listen to the radio saying "Mexico is to violent to visit", that´s just for the people involved in some thing iligal, you can ask all the people that hade the time to visit Mexico, they want to come back again (it´s sheeper)... consider, thaks for welcoming to the forums...

    Seeya soon in Mexico!!!...

  2. For 2 1/2", your best bet (if it can be done for 2 1/2") would be the Sub Frame Drop, there are a few popping up now, or you could always sell the R50 and by a WD21.

Ok, not selling my truck, lol, but I think I can find something to do to liftit, longer springs or something will come up...

  3. Hola!

The spacers B mentioned are typically used to level out the R50, or they are used with the Old Man Emu springs to lift the truck about 2" in the front.

4x4parts (AC) also sell a 2" lift for our pathys. This is what I have.

As B mentioned, check the stickies in the R50 section.

Bumpers are few & far between. ARB makes them for the 2000-04 Pathfinders, but they will fit your 97 (with a gap), but they are not cheap. KMA also make bumpers (Google Pathfinder Wincher Bumper), however their turn around times are known to be slow, and I have heard some complaints about some weld quality.

Thaks Pezzy, I all ready checked the 4wheel auto-part stores on both sides of the border and no body carries the lift kit for my SUV, a friend that makes roll bars, cages and tube bumpers for race cars and off road vehicules, told me to take aluminum bars and put them between the truck´s body and the strut, but it aint sheep, the bar alone cost me $210 U.S. dlls, so I´m just waiting to get paid again so that I can pay my friend to do the part (AUMENTO), as for the bull bumper I saw 1 made by Racing Dinamycs (a Mexican company)and it looks well made but costs $790 U.S. dlls with fitting, got to make a piggy bank for that one...

  4. Welcome Manny!! The bumper may be hard to find, you may be better off having one custom made... As for lifting the front, I believe people use strut spacers, but I don't think you can get 2.5" out of them. I suggest you look lower on the main page section for the R50 forum. Your answers are there...

    B

Thank you, I´ll check and see what to do...

  7. Hello everybody, I´m new in this site, my name in Manuel or Manny and need some asistance...

I have a 1997 Pathfinder 4x4 and trying to get it set up for off-road andventure (not that xtreem), I allready put on 31x10.5 R15 A/T BF´s KO, outlaw II wheels (used), made by me roof rack, 3 Hella 500´s mounted on the front bumper, KYB GRS-2 front struts, KONI xtended back shock absorbers, private radio scanner for comunication with other 4wheelers (mostly friends).

Here come the questions: 1.- How do I lift the front? need 2 1/2 inch(no lift kits aveluable), 2.- Where to shop so I can get the Bull Bumper for the front to put a whinch on it?, rectangular lights for the roof rack? (need 6 white beams)...

I¨ll be waiting for answers, so that I can get my Prieta as good as some Pathys in this page

    Thank you.
