  1. Ok guys,

I am trying to buy a Snap Ring for my front cv axle at the end of the Hub, i went to this site www.nissanpartszone.com and you can see that the snap ring part is #39253x, but there is about six different of them.

Anybody knows what is the correct one? I did use my VIN # and my truck production is ( 02/00)

I dont know what the Specification: T= 1.1 select means.!!

    Any help.!

    Thanks

  2. Ok i did install all new cv.axles on 2001 pathy le. And after a month i found the passenger on Inner boot split in half ( inner is the end that connects with 6 bolts to the front gear box / axle). I dont wanna go thrugh all that hassle for now, so im looking for a quick fix / split boot kit, but all that i found is for the outer boot.

Anyboby knows where i can find this inner boot kit? Or if the outer boot will fit the same? Please help.

I do have manual lockers so i dont use the axles for now, but this quick repair is to eliminate more corrosion or damge into the axle joints.

    Thanks

  3. Thanks for all.!

I did reply you back sorry i forgot to ask you if i can see your custome storage platform and the roof rack.

    Just getting ideas together.

    Thanks again.

The way I installed my spacers I used the OEM lug nuts to secure the spacer to the hub. The spacers came with their own lug nuts to secure the wheel with.

If you go too narrow on the spacer the OEM lug nuts may rub the wheel. I believe 1.25" is the narrowest you can go. I have 1.50" spacers.

Thanks for the pics they look good.

Do you have any vibrations on any speed? are they hub or lug nut centric spacers? if i may ask where did you buy them?

Can i see your tire in reference with the fender on a pic? Sorry if i bother Bro, just wanna make sure before any mistake.

Btw all that you did is correct on the install.

    thanks

  6. Hello guys

I want to replace my tail lights and head light kit for the newer ones that are black or smoke finished with regular or LED's bulbs. What do you guys recomend?

Also post some pics of them if on your pathy.

At the same time i'm still looking for answer on wheel spacers, i want to make the truck a bit wider looking i am in between 1", 1.25" or 1.50". But i dont know if i have to replace the studs to longer ones with the 1.50" what do guys recomend?

Also post some pics of the spacers how they look on your pathy.

    Thanks

  7. Nice Ride... Well done.

    It's done!

I didn't get the NX4 spacers in time so I went ahead and used the OME spacers (3/8") in the front. I was really hoping the NX4 spacers would get here in time so I could use the longer bolts from it and be prepared for the spacers down the road but it wasn't meant to be. I couldn't wait because I have a trip to Death Valley coming up at the end of the month and between now and then I won't have too much time to do this. Since we'll also be passing through a couple of tougher sections of DV loaded down with 4-5 days of supplies a little extra ground clearance would be helpful.

Anyway, after having done this job twice in 6 mos I don't think I'll be ready to do it anytime soon again, hopefully never!

So measurements wise, as soon as I took it off the lift it was sitting at about 37" ground to the edge of the flares! After driving it a bit (and gently bouncing it several times using brakes and the dip in my driveway lol) it's sitting at 36" in the front and 35.5" in the back. This is how it should sit  and I hope it doesn't settle more than .5"

  9. Precision before i had a 4runner 6" lift with M/T hankook Dynapros and love them...i did try a lot of tires before them and also they can be found for a good price.! i will recomend themm 100% btw i had them for 4 years MTs a daily driver truck and they did last a long time... now the ATs they might be better on payment, by the Grabbers at2 i did never heard good reviews about them when the road is wet.... Now i have 265/75/16 on my Pathfinder and love them also a good price at pepboys they will refund you the cost of 1 tire special rebate. must consider that.

I was shopping around specifically for Grabber AT2, Open a country AT2 and no one in the area has them for anything but for a ton, Grabbers are no longer cheap. I found a shop locally with DynaPro ATMs for $158 ea for my 04. They are not 10 ply but are P metric and the guy said that'd be more than fine but will I regret that decision? I am set on an AT tire for my on and off road endeavors but $800+ is a bit steep for me now

  10. Nice Ride....well done!

Hey everyone. I've been a long time lurker here and I finally found a reason to start posting to the forum.

I purchased my 02 LE three years ago with 100k miles on it and have been very pleased with it.

Upon purchasing it, I immediately replaced all fluids (oil, tranny, fr/rr differential, transfer case, coolant, brake fluid), spark plugs, pcv valve, filters, and locktite the power screws. Since then, the truck continues to run perfect.

Recently I found a great deal on a used AC lift ($125 on Craigslist) that I couldn't pass up. So I bought the lift and installed it along with new KYB struts and shocks. I was expecting 2" of lift, but instead I have 3" of lift even after a couple of weeks after the install. I figured since the AC springs were used, that they would have already 'settled' with the previous owner. However, the lift still seems to top out often over speed bumps and potholes.

I'm not really concerned too much about the top out since it is very common with this lift. My question is will the springs still settle down to 2"? or will it remain at 3"?

I have 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak ATs and now that the pathy is lifted, I want to get rid of some of that gap and go with a 31" tire. Unfortunately the Wildpeaks are fairly new with less than 3k miles on them, so unless I can sell them for a fair price, I may have to wait until they need to be changed.

  11. Towncivilian,

Thanks for your info, it will help a lot.

Where can i see pics of the lifted pathy's? anywhere on this forums? what i am trying to do is see what the members have on their trucks and take ideas from there. I was a toyota warrior before but i ended up with a 01 Pathy and i love it..the only thing that i regreat is NO chassis!! but is ok,! if you guys wanna see pics from the group/team i had go to facebook and look for VENEYOTAS 4X4....

But i am just trying to get my Pathy not as heavy off road truck, cause that is my daily driver. And i've just got one of my lower disc in my back Herniated, so i am going on therapy and all i can do for now is colect more info about the R50 and you guys...

I'll appreciate all your info and Pics like accesories interior or exteriors etc that can help.

  12. Has any one out there tried one of those cold air intake performance Fans or the performamce chip? I've seen these on some web sites.! Do they work?

Also let ask more questions about a 2001 pathy.

1 Is there any heavy duty front lower control arms kit?

2 any adjustable or heavy duty rear lower trailing arms?

3 is there any performance engine oil cooler and transmision?

4 what is the best fluid for rear front differentials and transfer case?

5 where can i find tail lights and head lights dark smoke? Any one out there with these? Pics please

I do appretiate your help and comments!

    Thanks
