Ok i've looked all over the place b/c my sunroof is leaking like crazy. Is there anywhere i can get a new piece of weather stripping to go around it? It's a 89 XE.

These are the Tbars right? the bar right there in the front of the pic?
i'm still searching for the thread. any special tools to adjust them?
yea i know i have some oil leaking...think it's the rear main. I'll get to it one of these days.

OK this has been bugging me personally for awhile. Then one of my buddies said something to me last night.
See the front wheel are tucked up in there and the rear have the gap. Tires are 31x10.5. It's like that on both sides.
Is this the way they come factory or do i have an issue?
***edit*** i know that it's sitting uneven now, but it's like this even on flat surfaces.

Fixed. Took some time to sit back and breath. Got everything lined up, took a lighter and got the needle to bend back a bit and the damn thing is working fine now.

ok idk. I'm really thinking about gathering my car and the pathy up this weekend and trading them in. I'm just sick of all the lil stupid @!*%. One thing after another. Not saying that i won't have that with another vehicle but at least i'll have a more solid base. IDK yet, we'll see how the dice fall.
Basically(sry for the rant), the cluster won't work at all now. I tried putting a straw around the needle and nothing. Took it off now it won't work at all. Pulled the cluster apart(which was prolly a mistake, but too late) checked out everything, looked fine. Put it all back together and still nothing.
Im just overall frustrated.

ok well this is what i just found out.
THe speedo goes up. Doesn't come back down. But when i put it in reverse it does......so wtf does that mean? lol
It's always something with this truck.

It is touching the face but it goes up without any problem. And i tap on the cluster or bang on the dash it goes back down. Like i said i'll try to see if they are aligned and then let ya know if that was the problem. Hope it stops raining

Are you talking about where the speedo and speedo cable connect? If so it's a VERY high possibility. I'll have to check that tomorrow when i get home from work.

OK well i got the speedo from Packie88. ah...screw it i'm not going into the whole deal.
But i got the speedo cable installed, cluster put back into place and everything hooked up.
I take it for a test run to make sure it works and sure enough it does...YAY.
Then i look again...grr...it won't go back down. It just stays at the highest MPH i got too.
Any ideas of wtf is going on now?
*note....i just thought of this. I didn't use the cluster he sent me, his must be an manual tranny, mine auto. Anyway, i took the needle off "his" and put it on mine. I'm guessing this could be part of the problem also? IDK...just seem like the speedo cable doesn't do backwards.

ok well i was gonna take care of this today. But i got suckered into working a 16 hr day. Some maybe sometime this weekend. Maybe IDK.

Wow that sucks. Ok just grind off one of the heads. Will i get new hardware when i get the bushing or will i have to go buy it seperatly? Either way i doesn't matter i just need to know what i'm buying, so i can get it all at once.

Ok y'all I've come to the point of getting the carrier off and now i'm kinda lost.
How the hell do i get the bushings outta there?

Hope y'all can help b/c i need this thing to just shut up. Tried the fuel line deal but i can't deal with a temp. fix.

ok thanks guy. i did lube it up and it cut the noise down alot but it's still there. So i guess i'll be buying new bushings this weekend.

My problem is that when i shut my tire carrier and just when driving around (hitting bumps in the road), the carrier clanks around and it seems like it's coming from the hinge area.
My question is....if i lube the hinges up will the problem most likely stop or will i have to replace to the bushing? And if that's the case....how do i get the hinges outta there?

Ok I've serached around the forums looking for a light bar (brand/style). Ya know just some ideas.
I have a 89 2 Door. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really light the factory ones but from my understanding they are hard to come by.

Lol...no not yet. haven't had time with school and all. But don't worry I haven't been driving it.
It might have to wait unitl next week, payment and insurance is due. Part time jobs suck.
