  1. A couple days ago I fixed my death wobble with polyurethane split bushings from (whiteline.com.au), got bushings through local Partsource store. Only took about 3 hours, pulled bolts out and was surprised that they still had gold color to them(looked almost new). Pushed out a few of the old steel sleeves and bushings with my fingers, i guess that explains the wobble. Not bad for a 26 year old truck, now all my bushings are done. Has about 420,000 km.

  2. If you want LSD for front use, rear carrier from 300 ZX, should be a post on here how to do it. I lived in Shaughnessy for 4 years, moved back to Nova Scotia a year ago. If you need parts or work done try Useable Used Auto Parts on 238 31st North, they only deal with Nissans and Infinities. I bought an engine and trans from them, great place to deal with, prices were good and prompt. Pick-a-part by the airport is another good place. I bought a 1988 2-door from a young guy on the north side in 2010 for $500, still driving it.

  3. I lived near Lethbridge, Alberta (2010-2013), bought a used 1994 VG30e (150,000 km) for $577.50 (tax incl) in 2010. Bought a transmission (w/overdrive, 140,000 km) in 2012 for $729.75 (tax incl). The guys there were great, they found me a transmission (hard to find a good one w/overdrive locally) on Vancouver Island, shipping was $150. Didn't take long to get it. Original engine had 388,000 km and trans had 430,000 km when changed, 2 years later drove to Halifax, Nova Scotia (5000 km) for $800 in gas, still working great.

  4. I have an 88 2-door, changed engine at 380,000 km (seals were leaking like crazy), tranny changed at 400,000 km, then drove from Southern Alberta to Nova Scotia, 5,000 km,ran great ($ 800 for gas). Still runs great. Paid $ 500 for it 4 years ago.2 years ago i spent 10 days(1800 km) camping and fishing in the Rocky Mountains of southern Alberta. Awesome truck.

  5. Hi, I live in Lower Sackville, just moved back from Alberta. Check out Backcountry 4X4 online, they have members all around the province, lots of places to wheel. I drive a blue 1988 2-door pathfinder(Alberta truck), a work in progress.

  6. Lethbridge here, been wheeling in the mountains, fishing and camping. Blue 1988 2-door XE, 400,000 km on truck, replaced motor 2 years ago, tranny replaced last fall. going to do 3-link front and rear this fall (HP D44 and 9 in ford) 33 or 35 in tires. I do all my own work.

  7. Hello, new member here. I just recently bought an 88 XE-V6 2-door($500), i recently moved to Alberta from the East coast and wanted something i could take to the mountains to go fishing, a friend back east had a 88 Nissan 4X4 truck that was a blast to drive off road. I'm in the process of fixing a few holes(floor and rocker panels)and am building new bumpers(2x6 steel channel). Just got 4 31x10.5x15(slightly used for free). Was thinking about 35's, spring swap, crank torsion bars, body lift(3')and winch as winter project. AC not working, am thinking about convertin it to an air compressor with a small tank.
