sure edit while I'm typing...
lookk at the gap on the backside of the RR door, top compared to bottom. The truck is tweaked, sadly I'd say insurance is gonna total it. Not worth it to them honestly.
I agree, its over 10 years old so even if it were just the hatch, glass, and taillight, at a dealers part cost and labour rate, that alone would still be enough to total it.
Glad everyone is okay though!!

Nope, we leave them laying around in case someone else's pathy won't start at Taco Bell...

Mmmmmmmm Taco Bell ....

Very easy. Wipers come off with 1 nut each. Under your vents there are 2 or 3 screws each, they come out, and then under the hood there are 2 more! Then with the hood open, slowly pull up and towards the windshield.

I had one for a while, but i needed too much to be fixed to be road worthy! The frame was good, but thats about all that was good!

Any Idea where that front bumper on mini me is from, or where I could get one?!

I Averaged 13L/100KM (18MPG) when my 88 Automatic was running poorly. That was 50/50 split. I am yet to put enough KM onto it to calculate its new consumption since I replaced a bunch of stuff, but it feels better. The Fuel Economy of this truck from day one has been absolutely amazing in my opinion, I am shocked at how great it is.

Very interested!!!!

I have a new exhaust on mine, a 2.25" from the y-pipe back. No performance gains IMO, at least not noticeable, but it does sound nice and not having exhaust leaks is a very satisfying thing!!

Spend a bit more money and spend tools that come with a lifetime warranty!!
I know I did, anytime I break something, whether it be by stupidity or sheer dumb luck, all i have to do is go to my nearest Crappy Tire and I get a new tool free!
-
Got alot of stuff from the JY for it in the past few days!! Also ordered a new EGR! Hopefully that will help me pass emissions!!

Drive clean is a stupid bitch.
New Scores:
I have a brand new cat, brand new O2, used exhaust with no leaks, new air filter, and a seafoam job done since the last test, and I did much better this time, but idle CO% is still wayy too high.
Any ideas, anyone?! What it may be, what may fix it, any tips or ticks to get it to pass, fake e-test, ANYTHING?! Im sooo frustrated with this truck and its E-TEST!! Why couldn't it be an 87?!?! Anyone have a full set of vin plates for an 87?!
Thanks in advance for any help guys, everything is appreciated!!

nunya, where did you get your covers?
-
you sea foamed your engine.
well, you either fixed it, or finished it.
It runs allot nicer now, the place I notice improvement most is my acceleration. I find it easier to accelerate, like the truck has more pep to it, and its nice and smooth!!
-
They are strict up here, and for a 23yr old vehicle, it sucks.
Update: Seafoamed. After 8 minutes of Revs between idle and 4K it was STILL pouring thick white smoke, so I took it for a drive to get her to stop smoking!
New Cat going in Friday.
-
Thanks!!
Converter is getting done Monday, And I will also run a bottle of seafoam through the truck prior to that, to empty out all the nastys from the engine!!
-
I assumed Cat as well. Taking it to my shop Friday for a Cat, driving it all weekend, and getting it re-tested Monday, see where I'm at!!

So, I took my 1988 Pathy in today for an E-Test as Im trying to get it on the road, and it failed pretty horribly. The readings were:
Does anybody have any insight as to where I should start in diagnosing and fixing this?! Engine doesn't burn oil, has 340000KMs and has just had new plugs, wires, and distributer put in.
Thanks in advance!!

Hey guys! I have recently become the new owner of a 1990 2door Pathy! Im in the middle of ripping it apart, cleaning it up, replacing a bunch of things, adding a SL and a BL, and i have a question about rims! Im looking at getting 33x12.5 sized tires and mounting them on 15x10 rims. What backspacing would you guys recommend, 3.75", or 4"?
If you guys could let me know your recommendation, what you run, and maybe even some pics as to how far out the wheels stick that would be great!!
