So I left a link that sums up my initial problem
But I had my alternator tested the guy told me it was good. So I reinstall check everything on my truck to see why it's not running. I'm 99% sure it's the alternator, pull it out again. I bring it to a different shop and get it tested with my battery. The guy tells me "my alternator is shot and a blew a cell on my battery". So it's always good to get a second opinion or watch them test your alternator. Don't get side tracked with shiny auto parts.

To give you an idea of what I've done on my truck, here's a couple of pics....
what I started with, driver's side.
In progress (tacked)
In progress (welding almost done)
Hey dude I'm a welder by trade. And I just wanted to say that to make the frame stronger would be to just grind a bevel on the plate. And skip weld it (row of tacks skip every second weld). Just because you could warp the f*ck out of the frame even with all that weight on it.

I tried that and my alternator is good and so is my starter.

my engine has 224k on it and the lifters are noisy on startup, more so on the passenger side bank, but once you drive it around and it warms up it's good to go!
yah that's exactly what mine does. But I just ignore it now.

Ok so to sum up my whole problem goes as. I was driving up island and all of a sudden my radio stopped working. And then my dash lights went out and then my engine turned off. All in about 5 seconds this sh*t happened. I had to have the truck towed back to my house. After trying to figure out the problem while waiting for the tow truck. For four hours in the pouring rain and a 210 dollar tow. I tried to start it again this morning and same thing. No dash lights and the motor won't turn over. Not even a clicking sound. DEAD. My headlights work and my interior lights work, but the radio and dash lights don't. So what I wondering is what might have happened. Cause I've checked all of my fuses and I'm not exactly sure what it was.

Ok yeah it's been doing if for like a year now. It has never bothered me, I was just wondering cause I'll be away from my truck for 6 months. And my girlfriend will be driving it. So I just wanted to make sure nothing will go wrong with her driving it.

Everytime I have a cold start up I hear a ticking sound. But it goes away once the motor warms up. Does anyone know how to relieve the problem? And should I be worried?

I went with Rancho 5112's in the rear - longer travel. Like GG said the front doesn't need longer shocks
How much did you pay for your shocks?

If you have no stock roof rack as I do on my 95. I purchased a thule gutter mount system off of craigslist for 100 bucks. And I put a rocketbox on it and bike rack and it's really strong. Cause when I go on road trips I swap it all out and put a basket on it and have no problems. And it doesn't affect my sunroof at all. Since you can slide the rack back and forth to however you prefer.

There's a link for a kit for a 95. The best part of this kit is it has the longer bolts that you need for the 95.

Yeah I have some 31" Geolander Mud Terrains on my 95. And the only issue I have is when I have a full back seat and some gear in the back. The knobs rub my fender flares around corners but that's it. Cause I go wheeling with mine all the time with a buddy or two. And I have no issues at all.

I hit the fender when flexing or bottoming out but just barely. I think 1" BL will remedy that for me you have to call and request those but its only $100. most ppl just do a 2" or 3"
Yeah I'm gonna end up doing a 3" lift. Cause I found a kit online and it's only $150.00

Ok cool, so then I guess my shifter would just shorten by three inches and that would really be it for things that would change. Other than extending gas filler and moving bumpers.

I have a 95 Pathfinder with a automatic transmission. And I currently have 31" tires but I find they bottom out at times when I'm out wheeling. What I'm wondering is if I can install a body lift on it? Even though it has a automatic trans.? If not can anyone help me on solutions for getting a higher ride hight/ lift. Without doing a full on suspension lift, since I'm on a budget. thanks

If I knew you'd be down in Vancouver. We could of taking your rig out with mine to break it in. And you mentioned the vents on your dash if they're the ones I'm thinking of. The three narrow ones just before the windshield. If they're lifting up in the corners, cause that's what mine were doing. Just super glue them down.
