  1. So I left a link that sums up my initial problem

But I had my alternator tested the guy told me it was good. So I reinstall check everything on my truck to see why it's not running. I'm 99% sure it's the alternator, pull it out again. I bring it to a different shop and get it tested with my battery. The guy tells me "my alternator is shot and a blew a cell on my battery". So it's always good to get a second opinion or watch them test your alternator. Don't get side tracked with shiny auto parts.

  2. To give you an idea of what I've done on my truck, here's a couple of pics....

what I started with, driver's side.

Hey dude I'm a welder by trade. And I just wanted to say that to make the frame stronger would be to just grind a bevel on the plate. And skip weld it (row of tacks skip every second weld). Just because you could warp the f*ck out of the frame even with all that weight on it.

  3. Ok so to sum up my whole problem goes as. I was driving up island and all of a sudden my radio stopped working. And then my dash lights went out and then my engine turned off. All in about 5 seconds this sh*t happened. I had to have the truck towed back to my house. After trying to figure out the problem while waiting for the tow truck. For four hours in the pouring rain and a 210 dollar tow. I tried to start it again this morning and same thing. No dash lights and the motor won't turn over. Not even a clicking sound. DEAD. My headlights work and my interior lights work, but the radio and dash lights don't. So what I wondering is what might have happened. Cause I've checked all of my fuses and I'm not exactly sure what it was.

  4. If you have no stock roof rack as I do on my 95. I purchased a thule gutter mount system off of craigslist for 100 bucks. And I put a rocketbox on it and bike rack and it's really strong. Cause when I go on road trips I swap it all out and put a basket on it and have no problems. And it doesn't affect my sunroof at all. Since you can slide the rack back and forth to however you prefer.

  5. so all the body lifts i can find say there for 86-90... nothin that lists my 95 so is ther one out there for my 95 and if so where or will the 86-90 setup work? also none specify if it will work with an auto trans.. Im sorry i know this has been covered but i seem to be reading yes and no's so im looking for one last final answer as i got the money and wanna do it befoer the wife says no!!!

There's a link for a kit for a 95. The best part of this kit is it has the longer bolts that you need for the 95.

I hit the fender when flexing or bottoming out but just barely. I think 1" BL will remedy that for me you have to call and request those but its only $100. most ppl just do a 2" or 3"

Yeah I'm gonna end up doing a 3" lift. Cause I found a kit online and it's only $150.00

  7. I have a 95 Pathfinder with a automatic transmission. And I currently have 31" tires but I find they bottom out at times when I'm out wheeling. What I'm wondering is if I can install a body lift on it? Even though it has a automatic trans.? If not can anyone help me on solutions for getting a higher ride hight/ lift. Without doing a full on suspension lift, since I'm on a budget. thanks
