where can I get an oil analysis? how much does that cost about?
Also when I change to amsoil for the first time should I do some kind of rinsing? like removing my old oil.. put in a quart of amsoil run the engine a minute, dump that oil then put in my new oil? if so, at what point should I put in my new oil filter?
-
well my goal is not 25k but 10k -15k is nice Since its rated for 25k/ 1year I shouldn't have to worry if I do it every 10-15k!

Oil Filter:
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/detail.aspx?ID=6904 (EAO13)
As for Oil, the recommended Amsoil viscosity for your car is 5W-30. You can use either:
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/asl.aspx (I use this one)
or
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/xlf.aspx
Even though the ASL says it can go up to 25k miles, I still change at 5k along with the filter. When in doubt, go here.
ah! here we go
The ASL / EA stack looks like a winning combination to me! They do say in the specs that the oil & filter can last up to 25k.
thanks!

Mobil1 and there is no filter in the world that can last 15k.
serious? whats the point in getting 15k oil if you need to change the filter at 5k
so how long can the best filter last?
how about this one? http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorO...il_Filters.aspx
-
and what about oil filters? is the oem nissan good enough to last 15k miles with good oil?
-
I prefer Castrol
which castrol?
-
which engine oil should I use in my pathfinder? preferably one that can last at least 6-7k miles..

What odb-II software do you guys use on a pathfinder? I have a usb cable that connects from my laptop to the odb-II swith under the dash. On my vw I use vag-com but that software is made for vw and audi's only.. any equivalent software for a pathfinder?

Perfect, thanks! thats exactly the kind of info I was looking for

"AC Lift"
more info please! what exactly do I need? just springs? Do you have a link from where I can buy that online?
-
warped brake rotors possibly. where did you buy it at? take it back there and have them fix it.
I'm not too worried about where I bought it! Got another truck from them before and they fix everything within 30 days of your purchase without having to fight for it. I even got them to trade the truck I had bought for this pathfinder cause I hated the other truck. (Ford escape) No idea why the hell I had bought that piece of @!*% LOL!! Offcourse I had to give in a bit more money but all I can say is I'm glad I did cause my pathfinder is awesome -bounce-
my intention now is too get everything verified by a 3rd party and then just bring it back to them and give them the list of things to fix

I'm new to my 2003 pathfinder LE. Just got it this week. However I find that when I break I get a lot of vibrations. I'm gonna get it checked this week but in the mean time I'm wondering if this is my brakes or is it possible that it is my tires that do that? since I got it with brand new winter tires but there's no snow yet? I can't compare with how it was before since I just got the truck.
-
Finaly got my truck! its a silver 2003 LE instead of the 2002
anyway.. on with the tires. I guess I will have to go with a lift
I'm going to do this after winter since I got the truck with brand new winter tires.
How does the truck feel with a lift? is there any lift / suspension combination that can make this truck go woooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! you know what I mean? super smooth ride that you don't feel the bumbs. kinda like a range rover but without breakdown issues of a range rover
