  1. Do you not have some sort of automotive store in FL? I just went to Lordco up here, one of the major retailers, and just asked to buy a pair of Warn manual locking hubs for a '95 Pathfinder. They cost about $150, i paid the guy at the counter and had them installed with in the hour. I'm not sure about the trouble you are having in finding them.

    Daver , I´m in Argentina ....

All time I buy in USA and shipping to here some replacement parts and generally no have problems but in a couple of times I have difficulties with some models of hubs, because this I request data .

A precise data have a great value for me.

    Thanks.

Now I will modify my profile to clarify my location...

  2. This is critical ! When wiring directly off battery, You must put an inline fuse as close to battery + terminal as possible. If you put the fuse close to the outlet , and wires happen to short for whatever reason before the fuse, you could easily have a massive fire and die :crossedwires:

Yes, of course nearest possible to the battery.

Yendor... see the location and type of fuse holder.

  3. Hello Yendor!

I add in my Path a 12 V plug and a power outputs in the back of the center console.

    toma12v1.jpg

Both are wired with independient fuses direct from the battery, I use Diam 8 mm cable ( near to AWG 1 ) the wires enter near to the main hardness cables an pass below the mat floor insulated by independient plastic tubes protection.

The 12 V plug is used for accesories ( batteries charger, ligths, PC, etc ) and the power output to conecting the 12V / 220V converter , auxiliar and battery charger and others.

Is easy follow the power cable to the cargo area below the mat floor in order to install more outputs there.

    I hope this helps.

  4. ...some differences between the blacks Path, the previous (TD27) have full crhome in some parts, (front grille, bumper, moldings of windshield etc ), basic cloth seats, sun roof, switches of ligths and back window at the instrument pannel and other bit details.

You can see a some versions here with differents components bodies and equipment, during the 90´s a company named CIDEF was the representative of Nissan in Argentina, they import WD21 manufacturated in Japan from differents market destination.

The plate at the windshield is my license of amateur radio operator, my call sign. A VHF radio is installed in the Path

Later I add a pic of my QSL in the firm.

Under mi oppinion, the TD27 is a great engine, hard, simply , reliable only start and run and run....I say the TD27 is "dog´s meat" always start....start under the water !!!

My TD27s are atmosferic ( no TD27T Turbo ) , good torque al low RPM, good perfomance in the off road use, really in low gear reduction is a pleasure to drive, but in the road the speed is slow and runs some noisy.

In the other hand here in Argentina we enjoy the low cost of the Diesel Fuel during a lot of years, and now the price are near to the international prices....a good Diesel Fuel have the same price as a Premium Gasoline.

I take the decision to change to V6 engine, more HP, more silence, best cruise speed,....more confortable and my bones are happy.

My first Off-Road 4x4 truck was a CJ5 Jeep made here in 1971 engine 4L151, later 2 TD27 engines, and now I´m really touch the sky with the hands driving on a Path VG30E. Is a pleasure.
