  1. The Yakima or Thule mounts are by the doors (I don't own one so I can't be more specific) and have a considerably higher payload than the factory roof rack that just lays on the sheet metal. You probably want to copy that mounting system, not to mention it should be easily removable then.

I understand you are having it fabbed, I just figured you could use the aftermarket types as a design reference.

    perfect thanks alot guys

  2. What do you plan to use the rack for most of the time and does your keyboard have a <shift> or <.> button? ;)

Yakima and Thule are two of th choices I know of off hand but I recall someone using an 'off brand' that worked well for them.

Remember mine is a 95 so it came that way. I just changed the seats from XE seats to SE ones.

Also the 93 speedometer is a cable while the 95 is electronic, so there is that issue as well.

ya thats the dash i want in mine i have seats out of a se i havent put them in yet

  5. i have a 93 xe v6 and im considering putting an 95 se inteior in i am particularily fond of the dash it is more round and i find it much more apealing my friend said that it might be a night mare because you never know what they could have changed between the generations of dash board has any one done this ? and if so how big of a job will it be?

  6. hey guys my names jon iv owned 4 nissan pathfinders to date and im about to own my 5th i started out with an 87 se v6 2 door black pathfinder and after owning it for less than a month i was sold i drove the hell out of that truck intill it would barely move and i couldnt beleive the abuse i could put it through and yet everymorning it would start up on a dime after the 87 i had a beige 92 4 door se v6 whick was fully loaded with leather ionterior i loved that truck it came with a push bar that i was very fond of it gave the truck a great amount of character espescially after i mounted 2 6 inch bosch lights which barely fit in between the two horizontal bars during these two i also had a 87 se v6 parts truck right now im driving a black 92 se v6 and am very impressed with it but unfortunatly the frame is rottting right out of the back so i have a 93 xe v6 which im putting on the road in the next week this is going to be a b ig project because im set on cutting the sunroof out of my se and installing into the xe and im not sure if its ever been done before on top of that im very serious about getting into lift kits custom bumpers and roof racks and ultimatly making the truck iv always wanted long story short thanks for havin me and any tips you can send my way would be greatly apprecieated

  7. Yeah I'm debating on what to do with my Pathy. Great truck so far, does well offroad. I do miss my 85 Blazer Silverado though, nothing like knowing you can run over someone's house without thinkin twice about it. To keep it simple.... 350 motor, 6" lift, 35x12.5QR18 BFG Mud Terrains, and straight pipe dual exhaust. Obviously the Pathy will never reach that level, but it's a nice truck for a daily driver and it does well offroad. My dillema is whether or not to sell it and save money to build another monster truck haha. Is the Pathy worth holdin onto?

get some 31 x 10s u can lift the front end about two inchs by jacking up the torsion bars with a impact gun which will give you some more clearance and have a lil more faith in the pathy shell take you anywhere you wanna go
