I figured I would give this game a try, sort of confusing but I am sure after a few days it wll get easier. Any help would be appreciated, I just have the basics as of now, tires, x fer case, fi v6.

Once you get the a-pillar off, you can unplug the tweeters, instead of snipping the wires. If you ever want to add new ones all you have to do is plug them in. I had a "blown" one, just got another one from the junkyard and it works like new again.

[Intermitent Starting Problem]

The problem was the clutch switch. They replaced it an the car starts great everytime. They also informed me that my ignition switch may also be failing and it should be replaced within the next 6 months if possible.

 

$140 later im on the road.

do you have an interlock switch?????? Reason I ask, is my truck does the same thing even with the interlock button depressed, when it acts up that is

I have the same exact problem with mine. The only trick that I learned over the past few months is to wiggle the key while trying to start and it turns over. I believe my problem is the ignition switch(lock cylinder). Whenever I get around to it, I am going to pick up a new one and see what happens. For now, I'll just stick with the "wiggle".

Well just swinging by to say whats up. I am a new pathfinder owner, I just purchased Dave's 94 pathy that was in the classifieds. I guess you can say that I come from a long line of offroad vehicles, in particular, samurais. I look forward to chatting with you guys, and hopefully doing some wheeling.
