  1. You can't shift on the fly with manual hubs locked, no. If you did, you'd get a really nice loud grinding noise.

88, do you mean shift up or down. i have just ordered a set of manual hubs for my 5sp manual. with the auto hubs, i have been stopping to shift into 4wd but shifting back into 4 hi or 2 hi "on the fly"

can you still do this on manual hubs? or do you need to stop to shift out of 4wd?

  2. Hi All,

Found this on another board. Thought it might be useful. Basically a list of web sites for parts, not Pathfinder specific, but there are 15 pages, you may find something.

It is in pdf format so you should be able to save to disc, if it doesn’t work let me know.

    happy searching.

  3. Thanks Guys,

Mate, i can hardly see the oil filter from the engine bay in my truck. it is tucked in right down low on the drivers side (Right hand drive). only way in is through the wheel well and can hardly get my hand around it let alone a strap spanner. typically have to distroy old filter to get it off. it is also really close to the chassis so i have to get a small one.

Thanks for teh advice on the sway bar, i had considered simply taking it off when we go 4wding so i think i will just do that.

    Cheers,

  4. Hi All,

Has anyone fitted the AC oil filter relocation fit to their truck? it sounds like a good idea to me but is it worth it? it would not only to make it easier to get at, but also to move it up in the eng bay away from the mud and water.

Another question, sway bar quick disconnects, how do they work? do they allow quick removal of the whole sway bar or simply allow it to move more at the supports?

    Cheers, :D

  5. In NZ we are currently paying 108.9cents per litre for 91 octane, 113.9cents for 96 octane and about 120cents for 98 octane.

that works out at about US$2.56 per gallon for 91, $2.67 for 96 and $2.82 for 98.

i run my truck on 96 and get much better mileage than on the 91.
