I think I may own the only rusty 88' Pathfinder in Arizona. Someone drove it out here from Chicago originally. Right now its bone stock and I want to do a little work to run the gazzillon miles of back roads around my town.

  2. Hello, nice forum you have here. I live in Prescott Valley Arizona and own an 88 pathfinder. Never been much of a off road vehicle guy but my son and I mountain bike and I needed something to get our bikes and us to the trails. A guy at work had a good running pathfinder for 700 bucks and I snached it up. I have had it now for a couple of months and have realized I can get further and further out in the mountains and it would be fun to explore the thousands of miles worth of trails. I have some decent mechaical skills having built a couple of choppers and doing all the mechanical work on our family cars over the years. So I thought I would do a little mild work to the pathfinder. Right now it is bone stock with mis-matched tire sizes. I'm shopping for new tires and need to replace the speedo drive. Maybe a lift kit in the future. The body is rusted and may be the only rusted car out here. It originally came out of Chicago. I'm not worried about the rust but would like it to be as close to perfect mechanically so I don't break down 40 mile out in the middle of nowhere. Anyways, thats my story. and here is a link for a picture of it with my son http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/ff66/vi...current=021.jpg Vipon
