  1. I'm in that age of my life where I look for sacrificial cars for my teen drivers - something big and slow, good visibility, etc. Pathfinder fit the bill. Found a cherry 2002 Pathfinder with lots of highway miles (234K) but the car is so clean with all records, I could not pass it up. In the next year, my 18 yo will buy it - or so he says, and I'll be back to working on my wife's Sequoia (now there is a work of art - not) and my Maxima. Let's see, so far, all I need to deal with is a slipping power steering belt, and a few months ago, it lost an ignition coil. It has the same engine as my Maxima (same year), so knew exactly what to do. Mid last week, it went from running fine to screw you, I'm not going to start. It cranks, so this is my Sunday task today. What I really want for Christmas is something 4WD, and I want to get into driving out into the middle of nowhere and camping for a day or two. Looking forward to reading here - I love maxima.org. cg
