  1. So i got it all installed thanks for the help guys. I guess the amp is crap quality because when turned up the protection goes on. With hours of &^%*ing with it, wiring the DVCs in series grounding it 3 different times with 3 different wires and 3 different location, checking the voltage of the rca and the amperage of the terminals it still cannot pound that loud but it bumps nonetheless so im happy. Yesterday i got all the sparkplugs changed, now my revving past 4k problem is no more (Somehow). The truck is running healthy on that part. Now i dont pass smog tho. Tested it 3 times and still havent passed. Even after doing a 70 mile drive no pass. So now im like @!*% what can i do. The OBDII came up as Idle Air Control and O2 sensor. The sensors have been changed tho so im guessing the Catalyic converter is fskced which is what all the mechanics are saying. Now their are 4 so im like @!*%. They said 1 is bad 2 are getting their and 3 is alright. He said 850 from dealer. I said well i can buy a new exhaust system now. So basically i dont have that kind of money so im trying to get it "Smogged" *cough* somewhere. Anyone know someone in Socal? After i pass smog i can finally get it tinted to So now im looking for a way to get more top end with less cash and passing smog. While getting the beast back and healthy.
  2. Yeah in my 3000gt i have 2 MTX Thunder amplifiers. 4 channel and 2 channel. Memphis dual voice coil door speakers 6 and halfs and 6x9s with 2 12inch kicker Compvrs. Kenwood KDC MP headunit. In the pathy is 2 Kicker Solobaric L5s. MA Audio M689i i believe. The headunit im nto sure i need to go back to my truck and look but at 8 im going to head to my audio shop and see what they can do for me. I will take some pictures today. I had some nice ones on my iphone but it was stolen 2 days ago. Thanks for your help!
  3. It doesnt bother me. I can still hit 105 easily. It shifts gears perfectly smooth and i do not have that kind of money replace anything. The subs i already have and its like 15bux for the wiring. The whole trick to hit is letting off a little before 4k and then letting it go ot hte next gear and then giving it some more. Im already expecting lots of bitching about it so no worries. If i have the need for speed i will take out my 3000gt. But my throw out bearing went out so my pathy is my only means of transportation.
  4. So basically i have 2 Kicker l5 Solobarics and an MA audio 4 channel which i will be bridging for the subs. My question is how would i go about turning the bass down for the door speakers without fskcin up the bass from my subs. I read on here about bypassing it by running new wires, which i totally do not want to know. I have installed subs and amps on my 3000gt so i know how to wire everything. Where do i run the wires in the 01 Pathy? Also how can i run NO bass at all to the speakers or little? BTW I fixed the deathwobble on the pathy aswell as the shutting off issue. Only thing thats left is the tranny not going above 4k rpms but it doesnt bother me to much and i dont have the money. So lets see. I have an after market headunit aswell. It is LOUD AS HELL but the bass is to much. 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE 3.5 Bose speakers. Which RCAs should i tap into for the bass. Aux is being used by the DVD and monitor. So if i use a 1 to 2 will it stil work? Also it has a previous install of a flipdown tv aswell as a visor tv and a DVD player in the dash and VCR in the trunk.
  5. Thanks for all the help greatly! Ok so for the death wobble should i be purchasing a total of 2 bushings or 4 bushings of these? https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=4127 or https://www.4x4parts.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=4125? Also i had the exhaust checked out. Told me that the Right rear was clogged or something or another. I have a new universal exhaust that i used to pass smog for my 3000GT, its laying in my garage. Would i be able to weld that on to the piping and expect it to function correctly? If the piping is the right diamater of course. Although a bell keeps ringing in my head saying that it has to be an OBDII?
  6. Ok first off the truck was not mine. Second you wouldn't know how I treat my cars third the reason it was on was because of a sensor which was replaced but the light stated on because it needed to be flashed and it would come back. Also it's in way better condtin now from when I bought it.
  7. Ok so im going to be replacing the Bushings first for the deathwobble. So for the Lower rear both sides i would need a total of 2 bushings or four? This is what im looking to buy http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/details/...33-1624936.html Would i need a quantity of 4 or 2?
  8. I have been trying to look for a place that will do re free inspection around San bernadino but can't find any
  9. The car would not go past 4keven before I drove through the river I called up the mechanic who told me it was the shocks and basically told him I want my truck back. So once I bring it back home I'll order some parts I was wondering if I could somehow ghetto rig my sisters old scion xb headunit into the path lots of audio guys said it could not be done tho Is their any place that will sell exhausts systems for my le? Or maybe a fake cat or hghflow? Then again their are like 4 huh?
  10. True but i am trying to repair it so at least i care tho
  11. Dont complain to me lol It wasent my truck. As soon as i bought the thing its been from mechanic to mechanic getting some TLC. I try to do whatever i can on it, but i luv my 3000GT and the money has to go to that to keep it pristine and collectible before the pathy. Oh and i drove the truck thru a lake. Heres another story for ya guys. On the way back from vacation with friends in Arizona. Their was a Semi that flipped over on the 10fwy and another one crashed into it. So the whole FWY is backed up for a few hours. Me and my friends brother decide to take the trucks on the muddy trails and god its so much fun. And behold their was a lake. My buddy in his tacoma 4x4 drives through it first no problem. Then i go through and i was doin great to. so were parked taking some pictures and the car wouldnt turn on! Doh!!! So here i am thinking i fried the alternator or something 10 mins later after some laughs, cigarettes, pictures and cussing the pathfinder turned on. We did soem more mudding and then bypassed the whole accident going on the trails good times. It delayed our arrival home by 3 hours but was so worth it. Plus who else can say they got to sit on a lawnchair in the middle of the 10 fwy with a cigarette in their hand and talk to a bunch of people just kickin it waitin for the semi to be moved.
  12. Yes it was a grand sight when we first bought it to. We went to Universal Nissan. My mom told the guy she wants top of the line. He says ok we have this this, she says no i want the highest. He makes some calls and asks "2wd or 4wd?" She said 2 DOH!!!! Anyways they didnt have one and neither did anyone else. He calls up the factory and they said yes we have only 1 We went to go see it, basically in a big bubble with plastic all over it. Ever bought a car so new that their are litterly 0 miles on it. No one has ever driven it or moved it was ridiculus. She spent something around the means of 47 i believe. For 7 years that truck has been driven through lots of states and actually went to florida to washington and back to cali and texas and lots of places. I have a 1995 with 125k miles im only beating her by a thousand or two. And when i bought my car it had LESS then my pathfinder.
  13. I guess 1 guy said Catalyic Converter. Didnt tell me which one though. Ill see what mechanic says now. After that i will check my funds, if i cant do anything i will sell it.
  14. Around 120k Miles. And the Service engine light has probably been on for 80k miles now Yes we drove the living crap out of it. I took it to arizona and back for vacation with friends with the Death wobble. Nothin like going 100 on the 10fwy with 2 girls in the back screaming. Fun times.
  15. So i have a 2001 LE 3.5 with almost every problem that could go wrong on a pathfinder. So here i will make a little list and hopefully you guys can help me in my quest to make it call work again? Death wobble @ FWY speeds aswell as driving down the street at 40 - Mechanics try to tell me its tranny, diff, rack and pinion aswell as ball joint oh and my left nut. Ive already replaced 4 shocks Brand new tires alignment 6 CD changer not working ERR2 Volume knob, when turned to the right it goes down or wont respond at all Passenger Right Rear window will not roll down when i try to roll down all 4. I have to wait and roll it down by itself i cannot roll down others while i do it. Car shuts off when i pull up to lights and stay their for about 20 seconds or more. Left turn signal wont work when running sometimes. but will work when actually turning left and only sometimes when running. Truck will not go past 4k RPMS. Yes i have to keep it under 4krpms. If i try to go past i will hear lots of motor and i wont really gain any speed. I added fluid did absolutely nothing. When i press the gas, say i push it half way, you will hear a loud thud noise like the tires just gripped quickly. From the rear. Clock does not work. So please enlighten me somehow, someway and guide me so i can restore my pathloser.
