  1. thanks for the input guys. the old ones have little bolts in the holes where the zurks should be. the new ones are completely sealed. I assume that they are prelubed. when i push the boot down quite a ways i can see a little biit of grease. I will install them tommorow and let you all know how it goes.
  2. I am about to replace the ball joints and tie rods on my 89. I noticed that the new parts do have a grease zurk and niether do the old ones. How to you grease up these parts when you install them? Or are they internally lubed?
  3. Well I am a Medic in the Army. I am currently working on degree majoring in biology. I hope to go to school someday. I also like wood working and and outdoor stuff. And I am really into college football. GO GATORS!!
  4. I appreciate that bit of info. It dose not mention that in the the instructions. But I will keep it in mind when I go to do it.
  5. Hey never mind about the help. I found the instructions on the autozone web site. They have instructions with pics for all kinds of things.
  6. I am sure that I will. I can't wait to get her off road to see how she does. But i need to do a little work first.
  7. Hi everybody, I just purchased an 89 Pathfinder that is in really good shape. I have always liked the style and when this one crossed my way I couldn't pass up the chance. I am in the Army based out of Ft. Stewart GA. I also have a family (wife and 3 kids) This is going to be my daily driver and occasional play toy to go camping, fishing, and hunting. I think that it is pretty cool that there is a forum for the pathfinder. I look forward to sharing pics and info with you guys. By the way I already posted a question in the garage for you all to help out with if you can. I will have pics up soon.
  8. I just bought a 89 Pathfinder XE. It is in really good shape but it needed new tires and a alignment. Come to find out though it needs new lower ball joints too. I don't really want to pay the 400 it would cost in labor so I decided to do the ball joints myself. I have changed out ball joints before but on a 65 Ranchero. I assume that it is similar but would like some instructions if any one could help me out that would be great.
