Guest Shaithis
My Name's Vic. I live in Montreal Quebec and work as a software developer. I've owned 4x4s since '89 My first was a '77 Chevy 1/2 ton stepside (electric everything) with a 4 speed granny low (NP 465 I think?) and a 5.7 which I owned from '89 to '95. I loved this truck because I could basically rebuild the starter and the carb in less than 1 hour. I stuck 33" BFG A/Ts under it and was loaded for off roading. I retired it because I couldn't keep up with the rust on the body and I think I jumped it a few too many times so the granny low tranny blew up, I cried... I then bought a '90 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 5 speed in '88 and kept it until '01. I couldn't wait to get rid of it. Uncomfortable, noisy, leaky, you name it. I sold it real cheap. My little brother bought a '93 Pathfinder just before I got my '97. He actually convinced me to consder one. I don't regret it one bit. It's black, automatic and currently rides on 235/75s I hunt, fish and camp out a lot and enjoy driving for hours along the coast to the north shore to play in the dunes And lucky me, so does my better half... she even gets me tools for my birthday!!! Well, nice to meet you all Vic
