Locating Key fob module 95 model

Hi.  I have looked everywhere for my keyless fob module in order to programme in new fobs. I can’t think where else to look.  It’s not in the place it’s supposed to be (under the drivers seat). Checked near air bag on passenger side (left).  Under passenger seat. In doors, near rear wiper amp, all under dash.  Nowhere to be found. The fob I have left only activated from short distance on left side of car.

I'm guessing yours is an early R50, not a late WD21, given you mentioned an airbag. The WD21 security system was an afterthought add-on under the seat, but the R50 security system is baked into the smart entrance control unit, which is under the dash somewhere. Looks like it controls the power locks, the remote locking, the alarm, the warning buzzer, and for some reason the rear window defroster too. Looks like you can program the new remote just by doing a stupid little dance with the ignition and the driver's door, no button on the module like there is with the WD21 system.
