1999 Pathfinder SE. Arizona vehicle all of its life. 200k mikes and orginal eng and trans going strong.

Have a lower mileage 3.3 I got off the internet I plan to go through. Looking for input on a good place to get transmission master overhaul kits as well as a kit for the transfer case.

Vehicle was in AZ all its life and the body is like new. Windows were tinted early to the interior is in fairly decent shape as well.

Looking to do a mild lift 2-4 inches. Any recommendations. How about power upgrades? Anything out there for the 3.3.

Do locking from hubs you can turn off when not in use work? make sense? mileage and wear and tear would make sense.

How best to handle the ever moving target of getting the RIGHT heater core for vehicle? Place to get correct tubes to fit to heater cores and orings for same. Plan on changing AC and Heater core if going to go thru this much trouble.

Most of that info is around here somewhere! My understanding is that you can do 2" without a lot of work, but beyond that you're binding CVs, topping struts, or doing a subframe drop. The stock cams in the VG33 are fairly wimpy, check out Pathogenic's recent thread for info on those. Hubs are a common upgrade, some good info here about different options for those.

Rockauto has a shift kit and most every seal I've needed, but if you strike out there/want OE, try Nissanpartsdeal or Amayama. Gamellott had his transfer apart recently, so you could ask him where he got parts (assuming you've got the same part-time transfer, not the all-mode). He also just posted his notes from that process, which could come in handy if you're planning to open yours up.

Thanks for the input that was very helpful. Tried to look up Pathogenic and not finding them or the thread. Love the TR10....will see if I can find the pictures of the TR3 I restored for my uncle....some 45 years ago now.... (yikes that sounds old). He was 6'7" tall and with the TR3 model with just the package shelf he fit in it....drove it around europe where he picked it up new. I was taken to my baptism in it and 20 some years later restored it for him.  I reach out to Gamellot on the XFER case. Thx again.

This thread. I'm sure there are better threads for explaining the actual process, but that's the one that came up recently. Swapping cams is common when swapping the VG33 into a WD21. Seems less common in R50s for some reason, but should work just the same AFAIK.

And thanks! I really need to get back to that project. I've seen a few TR3s, cute little things. Hard to imagine 6'7" folding into one, figures he'd be sitting on the shelf! Good on you for bringing it back. Hope it's still around!
