Looking for a good garage in Vancouver, BC to take my 2002 Pathfinder

I'm new here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to get recommendations for a good garage to take my 2002 Pathfinder. I get hosed every time I take it for repairs. One place replaced the alternator only to have that one die 1 1/2 yrs. later. And every time I take it to the Nissan dealer in Burnaby I end up with another ding in my car. Last year they cracked my driver's side mirror and left scrapes on the side.

I have replaced the blower motor myself - thanks to Youtube - and both headlights but I can't manage any heavy duty things. So far the only thing I've had to replace is the exhaust system and the alternator. I love my car and want to hang on to it for as long as possible and with a reliable garage I think it's doable. I'd like to get it re-painted too at some point too (Bayshore Blue Metallic).

I wouldn't assume the alt failing is the fault of the shop that put it in, unless they knowingly used cheap crap parts. Looks like your alt is still available from Nissan, but naturally they ain't cheap. FWIW I put a Magneti Marelli reman alt on my '93 and haven't had any trouble with it.

 

Probably better off asking people in your area where they take their cars, then call around.
