K7elh
Hi, relatively new here. My daughter has a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder SE with the 3.5L V6 in it. It seems like it is missing, but when I went to look, it looks like the plugs have individual coils on each one. The local auto parts store has coils ($$$!!) AND wires listed. I didn't see wires, but in that mess of an engine compartment, I cannot tell. I'm fairly competent (I think anyways), but unless I am wrong, it should have either/or not both. Am I correct? Thanks for any help. Eric H Fallbrook, CA
PathyDude17
Coils only, get OEM units if you’re gonna replace them, or chance some EBay ones
Mr_Reverse
The parts stores sell replacement "wires" for the coil on plug ignition systems. They are replacement wires, boots, and seals that go between the coil and spark plugs. My experience with COP systems is unless there was mechanical damage to the coil, if one is failed or failing, replace them all together, or you will be chasing issues.
