Datsunofagun
Looking for some guidance. Trying to find a drier fir my AC but the stock one has 3 outlets. One for intake from condensor, one for outlet and one for a pressure cutoff valve to attach. Every replacement I see has only intake and outlet. Any ideas? adamzan
It may be because the replacements have a bolt threaded into where the sensor goes in the pictures. You just remove it to put the sensor in.
Datsunofagun
Thanks for the reply. I thought that at first but the stock one has a fitting that screws onto the sensor. The fitting is part of the drier assembly and is not removable (to me at least). Any one replaced a drier for a 94-95 with this issue? adamzan
Can you post a picture of what you have? I replaced the one on my 1995 and it was as simple as screwing the old part into the new drier.
Datsunofagun
This is the part that looks to fit. But it is no longer being produced. https://www.amazon.com/Four-Seasons-W0133-1622522-Receiver-Drier/dp/B00449SR8K
Datsunofagun
This is the part Ebay, Amazon, Partsgeek, RockAuto says will fit. But no fitting for the pressure switch. https://www.ebay.com/itm/A-C-Receiver-Drier-Filter-Drier-4-Seasons-33415/192826650855?epid=74406760&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2ce55d30e7:g:PagAAOSwLIVeTF0i
Datsunofagun
So here is a part that has the fitting, but the outlets are off. Maybe use an adapter to make the outlets match and use this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CFQS3UQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=
dmvhornback
did you ever figure it out? i just bought that drier and idk if its going to fit either...
Slartibartfast
I haven't tried to install it yet, but I bought a GPD drier for mine, PN 1411457, via Rockauto IIRC. It has bolts going into both sides at the top, one of which I assume I can just remove to install the pressure switch, possibly using a fitting from the old drier. One of these days I'll get around to fixing my aircon, but this is not that day.
adamzan
That looks like the same one I have. It fit my 1995 just fine. You have to remove one of the plugs to screw in the pressure switch. Idk about you guys but I can't live without the aircon in mine. Black truck with leather seats....
Slartibartfast
Black with cloth is bad enough!
adamzan
Yup. Mine worked when I bought it but I had to redo it after something hit the condenser. I bought a vacuum pump and set of gauges. It gets down to the low 40s or high 30s. Coldest air of any car I own lol.
