Gmar11
Hey everyone, bought all my parts for my lift for my 2000 SE. So far I've ordered and received: AC front coils KYB Excel front struts LR9447 I just need to buy rear shocks, what shocks does everyone recommend? Obviously Bilstein is the best but it seems everyone is running different series of shocks and wanted to see what the most common used is. Also, how likely is a severe rake with my suspension set up? Thanks guys!
PathyGig12
The rake you get all depends on weight. I have no rake with that exact set up since I keep a bunch of stuff in the back plus a tire carrier. But completely empty I think I had an inch or so of rake, maybe a bit more. It looked very natural though
KiwiTerrano
Procomp ES326500. The perfect rear shock for the facelift R50. Gives you maximum downtravel with factory uptravel. A true 11" of useable shock travel (15.9" compressed 27" extended, which is just long enough that the spring stays captive). The only other shock that comes close is the Bilstein, but they are far more expensive. I got mine off Summit Racing for a very good price. They're well damped for the r50.
