AlwaysWrenching
I saw Gabriel also makes a pre-loaded strut? Anyone tried these?
FirstGenFreak
Not specifically but I have had a good run out of their shocks in general (A-Body Mopar) if that is any help.
prmanke1232
I would stay away from them unless you're broke and going for the cheapest shock around. Next worse is Rancho. Just an opinion. I've been using Bilstein for over 30 years on alot of different cars from Alfa's , Mercedes, Volvo, Nissan etc. Never had to replace one or had them wear out early. PathyGig12
No idea how good their struts are, I’ve only used KYBs up front. But I do have some experience with Gabriel Ultra shocks in the rear and they’ve been solid so far.

OME is gonna be the best option, kyb is a not so distant second
bodman
Get KYB's instead or spend a little more and consider Bilsteins.

AlwaysWrenching
Does KYB make a loaded strut? Strut, spring, etc? The truck has 217,000 and I'm planning on replacing the springs as well.
