kootenaypathy
When transmission shifts into 3rd gear and is in low rpms in seems to have a subtle "lulling and catching" type issue. not really slipping but a back and forth power loss and return sensation. I can accelerate out of that rpm zone and all seems fine and shifts continue to work well otherwise??????? SpecialWarr
That might be more related to what speed you are driving at the time your're in third rather than anything wrong with the trans, maybe try driving that speed downhill just to load the transmission a bit? Anyone else!!??
onespiritbrain
Does this describe your issue? While coasting at 40-50mph, slightly touching the gas pedal causes a “bump” of forward movement and then letting off the gas again, the same little “bump” but now it’s almost like engine braking with a manual transmission. kootenaypathy
my truck has this "hunting " in certain rpms whereby torque convetor locks and unlocks. it kind of feels like that. required power then less then back again repeatedly unless i move it out of that rpm range( low rpm in third under load). i had a similar issue in my previa , turned out to be tps harness had knicked wire. onespiritbrain
Oh okay well the lockup clutch going in and out does sound like a TPS issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
