Cosbool
Hey guys. I have a questiin. I have a 2002 infiniti qx4. It has overheating issue. While I was driving, I was reving around 5000rpm and suddenly, I felt engine power is all gone for a sencond. After that, coolant was come off from reservoir line and having overheating issue. I replaced a thermostat, radiator cap. And I did air bleeding well, and heatercore bypass. But still issue. So I went dealership and they checked pressured on cooling system and they told me It seems water control valve problem. Here is my question. Does anyone know how to replace water control valve and where it is? Thank you and have a wonderful day.
CNAM
I am about to replace both thermostats and the water pump on mine. It’s been slightly overheating. These trucks have two thermostats that control the coolant flow through the cooling system. I would recommend using OEM Nissan parts. I’m not sure there’s any other type of water control valve other than the thermostats. And if they begin to get stuck the truck will run hot.
